So Crazy Bernie “defended the pay package on Friday after the Washington Post story highlighted the fact” that Bernie’s being a little bit of a hypocrite, and then Bernie expressed frustration that his employees took their complaints to the media! He said (impression), “It does bother me that people are going outside the process and going to the media.
“That’s not acceptable. That’s not acceptable. It’s really not what labor negotiations are about and it’s improper.” Really? So your employees aren’t allowed to complain? You aren’t even giving them what you’re promising every American’s gonna get, and then they complain about it, and you tell ’em that they are violating policy. Bernie’s solution to this, by the way, has been to cut people’s hours. I’m not kidding. He has cut people from 60 hours to 40.

“Going outside the process”? That phrase seems like it could easily be a euphemism for “strike” in the context of a business/employee relationship.
Bernie has managed to sink his own campaign
It will be interesting to see what percentage of his staff leave now and then after the next debate and where they go. How much is Liz Warren paying these days?
I used to work for minimum wage when I was still working, and that is exactly what happened, every time the minimum wage was raised. The unfair thing was that every worker that worked for the minimum wage got the raise, whether they deserved it or not.
Most businesses that pay a "minimum wage" have profit margins that are razor thin. When they are forced to pay a wage that is not economically viable and still make a profit, they either have to cut the number of workers in that category, cut their hours they can work or they just close their business altogether.
The workers make more per hour but either work less hours so the business can afford it or they end up having no job at all under the higher wage.
It's no "deal" for the owners or the workers.
Here’s something I learned recently. This guy’s daughter graduated with a non-stem degree and took a job with one of those ‘activist’ groups that recruit on campuses and through Craigslist.
Those organizations are hard leftist and run like Jim Jones’cult.
Their policy is to pay them little so they qualify for food stamps, and they instruct them on how to apply for them. I’m told all employees of this organization do as they are told, otherwise they could not make ends meet.
I sh!t you not. I have this from a reliable source. Leftists are the meanest, most selfish and exploitative employers in the country.
