Oh yes, now that’s productive. Can’t ask more than that.

I would argue that they are not waving surrender flags. Rather, they are verbalizing in a manner that will placate American businss to which they are beholden. The overall result is zero

Everybody that matters knows it

Tariffs are not taxes. They are fees imposed on another country’s goods.
Why would Congress have an approval authority?

Article 1 Section 8 begins: "The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises..."

Hard to get more fundamental than that.

They've delegated some of that authority but they can take it back.

Don't worry... Mitt Romney will probably meet them at the gate at the airport to try to talk them out of it on the way to the White House.

The cartels control 80 % of Mexican land. Only 20 % of Mexico has police protection. Cartel everywhere else and the whole border. It may be impossible for them to stop it. We have a cartel run country south of the border. How long will it take the Deep State to admit we are under attack and in a war ? They have ordered their MSM puppets to censor the situation in Mexico from American citizens eyes and ears.

And then Obama to Russian Medvedev and “flexibility”, eh?

“The cartels don’t care about the caravans as much as they care about moving drugs and other illicit goods”

No, the caravans are fantastic for them. One, the migrants ARE the “illicit goods”. Each and every one represents at least 5,000 bucks to cross their turf. And make no mistake, every inch of border is controlled by a cartel. Crossing it without paying the fee is a good way to get beheaded by a chainsaw. And the migrants get money from Soros and others who are paying for the invasion. At current rates of 3300 entering per day, they earn at least 16,500,000 per day. or close to 500 million a month.

Second, when they want to move dope, what could be more wonderful than Customs and Border Patrol having to deal with 1000 people peacefully walking in and surrendering?
The migrant wave soaking them all up makes smuggling drugs orders of magnitude easier.

“.....PUNISH MEXICO!!!”

AND punish the Democrats who in conjunction with the low wage labor importing RINO’s encouraged Mexico to help them with their nefarious plan to Cloward-Piven our border.

None of them on that side expected a President that would actually fight back. He is, and America has his back.

The enemy is within.

I’m willing to help the Mexican government to establish sovereignty, if they’re willing to exercise it. Sounds like a win-win. However, that willingness is in question, given how they have acted with respect to the hordes forcing the way through to their own southern border. It will be interesting to see how this plays out - the Mexican government really doesn’t have a lot of options, they can play ball with the USA or they can play ball with the cartels.

What we really need is a joint declaration of war against the cartels and to clean the problem up.

The cartel will kill them. We wont yet. So the cartel controls them. There has to be a butt load of cartel assets here in the states. Too dangerous in Mexico.

yes, but we've been talking about doing things like this for a while, specifically I'm thinking about remittances/bank wire transfer and alike, stopping those. Force the issue even if it gets stopped by a court - at this point that'd be a good thing, Clarence is ready to pounce on putting a damper on national injunctions

I understand there are limits to what the president can do but he needs to be doing everything to stop this madness.

You can't even have wine during communion mass in San Diego to stop the spread of deadly contagions this wave of people invading the nation.

More military securing the border, close the border, stop wire transfers, increase tariffs, cancel taco tuesday. This crap has got stop now its over two years now and the problem is getting worse. This tariff thing and more should have been applied months in the administration not years - that said here we are and president Trump is on the whole the best president ever - it doesn't get around the fact he should learn from the past and make the pain intense sudden and total. Stop the flood, no mas

“You know, we don’t seem to get anywhere. Mitch is a perfect example of why.”

DO, which of the 43 odd Republican Senators up for re-election in 2020 ND 2022, would you “jump at the chance” to vote for? For me it’s very simple, ZERO. If I were in a foxhole fighting Germans, there isn’t a one of them I’d want in there with me.

“Mitch is a good guy.”

If your tastes lean toward a POS/Snake in the Grass! Get serious! Mitch f*cks our President as often as he can. But you’re right in that he doesn’t bend to “petty conservative whims,” it’s more like he bends over and grabs his ankles any time the Chamber of Commerce guy, Tom Donohue stops by.

“Senate time is too valuable to be wasted on spinning wheels to generate noise and smoke.”

Do you really believe what you wrote? The US Government would run far better if we simply closed down the Senate and sent all of those useless pr!cks home!
