For the record I like Tull and Frank very much
Yes I consider Tulls This Was and Stand Up to be eccentric
Fairport Convention with more heavy guitar and Ians flute
Aqualung really set the path
Benefit and Aqualung and TAAB and Living in the Past and his Christmas album and Songs from the Wood are all favorites of anyone who likes heavy guitar riffs and a flute set to a Lancaster versus York backdrop
Wait a minute!!!
I just realized Pelham slammed me, here! :D
“Jethro Tull eccentric? Well hes one of Salamanders all time favorites, so probably so....”
Catfish Rising is another epic album and the Twenty Years Of Jethro Tull compilation contains many great songs that never made it to albums.
FWIW, I even bought all his solo stuff.
Walk Into Light is a spooky but awesome album.
“Divinities: Twelve Dances With God” is an instrumental tour de force.
“A” is another under appreciated one.
I listen to some Leon every weekend. A one of a kind. RIP.
Thanks.
