ANAHEIM, Calif. (Reuters) - Walt Disney Co Chief Executive Bob Iger told Reuters on Wednesday it would be very difficult for the media company to keep filming in Georgia if a new abortion law takes effect because many people will not want to work in the U.S. state.
Disney has filmed blockbuster movies in Georgia such as Black Panther and Avengers: Endgame, and it would be a blow to the states efforts to create production jobs if the entertainment giant stopped filming there.
Georgias Republican governor signed into law on May 7 a ban on abortion after a doctor can detect a fetal heartbeat - about six weeks into a pregnancy, before many women know they are pregnant. The law is due to take effect on Jan. 1, if it survives court challenges.
Asked if Disney would keep filming in Georgia, Iger said it would be very difficult to do so if the abortion law is implemented.

And why would it be difficult to film there? Exactly why?
If actresses working in Georgia need an abortion, they can fly back to LA LA Land and get one.
Make it difficult for them to film anywhere. Make Hollywood stay in Hollywood!
Disney would retract their satanic action if people would stop spending money on Disney, but that is evidently too hard for people to do.
God will bless those who do His will. Igor believes that killing babies is fine and no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
Disney started out entertaining kids. I wonder what Walt would say if he knew his company favors killing kids today while catering to the mentally ill queers? Poor Mickey.
Why? Do they have lots of actresses killing their babies during filming?
I have always been suspicious there was more going on at Disney then meets the eye.
PUKE on Disney!
Just think Disney, if there are enough abortions you will be out of business.
Very few corporations and even fewer governments are on our side (our side being Bible-based morality and belief).
Zippity doo dah
If only Walt can see what his creation has become. He once told Annette Funicello he was concerned about her wearing her bikini.
It will be difficult, for me to choose to go to any movies by Disney.
Just saying.
There is a lot Walt wouldn’t like about modern Disney. In addition to the corporation’s position on social issues, there is the fact that the parks have lost some of their charm. The quest for more money no matter what it takes has changed things. Walt was a business man, but he also had a real appreciation for art and “imagineering”.
Iger already kowtowed to the California state government when they pulled Disneys tax credits.
Iger has also happily kowtowed to China.
But suddenly he draws the line at infanticide?
Fem - Florida and Georgia should put the screws to him - hell fold.
Skip Orlando
This is funny.
Georgia is giving hundreds of millions to Hollywood in tax incentives (free cash for them coming to the state to film - creating crappy fly-by-night jobs).
So the threat is ... to NOT take free money from Georgia taxpayers?
That’s some threat.
He is going to need to clean up after his team impregnates the locals during their stay.
