When House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler and Speaker Nancy Pelosi claimed that the United States had been plunged into a constitutional crisis, a large swath of the media took to plying this fantasy for them.
Ever wonder what a constitutional crisis looks like? Well, open your eyes, CNNs Don Lemon explained to his viewers. The president of the United States is just blowing right through our system of checks and balances, the very thing that is supposed to keep our Congress, the judiciary, and the executive branch working, which means our country working.
None of this is remotely true. Our checks and balances are working exactly as they should. Congress is free to make perpetual demands for information and testimony, and threaten the White House with contempt charges and impeachment when it doesnt get its way. The White House, in turn, is free to assert executive privilege and decline to hand over that information or give testimony.

Uh, oh. Is Schiffty withholding evidence? I bet he can't keep that claim going until the next election.
What is it guys like Schiff and Nadler eat or drink that gives them verbal diarrhea?
They must impeach or lose all credibility with their base.
Better title:
Schiff or get off the pot....
Where did the big brain Don Lemon learn about our Constitution?
I am not aware there is a Classics Illustrated comics version he could borrow from AOC. Maybe a used book store Cliff’s Notes with some 8th grader’s underlining so he can pretend he knows what’s important in it.
Whoa! Easy choice, Dude.
Like the DemRat base has any credibility to begin with! But hey pluck a few % away with those scant reasonable few could make a difference come voting time.
Both SHOULD be “drinking” a lot of old-time Haldol. Lunatics.

Thanks Libloather. There's still some journalism going on at the NY Post.
Schiff - Starts with a "D" and ends with an "ick".
Nadler - A LOT!
Actually I think there was a Classic Comic about the Constitution and there was certainly a Random House Landmark Series juvenile history book about it. That one was in my 6th grade class library.
Just got two hardcover 2019 facsimile Classics Comics editions of the Time Machine and Journey to the Centre of the Earth. Such nostalgia for me. And I loved the Landmark series.
That's where I got my vast reservoir of facts to impress everyone on FR. Oops, now I told my secret.
And sadly a lot of his viewers actually believe his explanations, including his long monologue the other day 'explaining to his viewers' that the leak of tax returns exposed a Trump secret that Trump never wanted to be known - that he was in debt in the 80s and early 90s. Never mind the fact that has been widely known for a long time and widely reported, and openly discussed by Trump himself in multiple forms of media including in a book he wrote and published himself, as well as on the TV show he hosted - "The Apprentice."
"All I ever needed to know I learned from comic books." LOL
Impeachment is a last-resort political weapon that is reserved for (1) Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death, or (2) prior to the Republican convention. In either case it will be intended to limit Trump’s freedom of action “just until it’s resolved”, meaning as long as the Dems can stretch it out. They know they can’t remove him from office so the smear will have to suffice.
Did you ever read the Winston Sci Fi series? Great coming of age stories in great 50s sci fi settings. Each cover was wonderful period sci fi art work.
re: Winston sci Fi....
Despite being a former expert on SF you’ll have to inform me. Can’t place the name.
Thanks.

Fixed it.
You can Google the name. It has a Wikipedia entry as well. While the books are no longer in print they are available. I have eight on my nook. They were the rage in our 7th grade class library. Even the girls read them. And that was when Ike was in his 8th year in the White House.
Sorry they need the distraction from the Obama administration’s Treason, biggest story of our lifetime first African President guilty of Treason
