Former Vice President Joe Biden (D) has expanded his comfortable lead over the 2020 Democratic primary field since his presidential campaign announcement last month, according to a new poll.
The Reuters/Ipsos survey released Wednesday found that Biden's support among Democratic voters has increased 5 percentage points, up to 29 percent.
He now leads his only close challenger, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), by 16 points in the poll. Sanders, at 13 percent, is the only other candidate to register more than 6 percent support among Democratic voters.

He’s a danger to Trump in the rust-belt, I’ll give him that, but he looks frail & obtuse these days. I expect Trump’s vigor & “large personality” will overwhelm him, but he’s going to poll much better than the rest of the clowns on the left.

Sleepy Joe is on track to becoming a 3-time loser. A pundit recently said that Biden is a terrific presidential candidate...until he actually begins to campaign.
Not much more pointless than silly polls at this stage in the game, unless you’re trying to impact public opinion.

For me, at least, this is more and more clearly becoming a, setup. Biden is dumber than a bowl of dip. There isn’t a person alive, who doesn’t know that. Sanders was filling arenas with millenials to the tune of thousands. Like her, Biden can barely fill a high school gymnasium. There is no way Biden has this much support, unless they are really, really cherry picking the people they’re polling to make it look like he commanding that much of a lead.
Sanders will get the Heisman, once again. Biden, if he’s able to last will pick Harris as his running mate. A black female with more baggage than anyone can carry. It’ll be fun to watch her debate Pence.
Of course, Biden, again if he lasts, will get absolutely manhandled by the President.
Again, if he’s able to last, but I think this is all a setup to have her, when the Dem primary is in a state of total chaos, show up to save the party and the world. Again. For the third time. And this time she’ll really mean it. Really.
When the Dems start attacking each other to get their top spot ? The Debates will be weird ,LOL

In presidential politics, once you fall into the mid single digits as an announced candidate, it's very hard to climb back into the running. You are basically done.
They are all basically the Rat versions of Ron Paul, his supporters are just louder than everybody else, but their numbers are small.
Agreed. I think he is their only shot, honestly. I guess it’s just the VP thing and the D’s favorite anti-American prez VP at that.
But I think, with more noise coming from the AOC wing of the party, the young socialists will turn away from him. Possibly pushing Bernie to run 3rd party, which I don’t think he’ll do. They got him a lake house and kept his wife out of federal prison last time. No reason that her investigation can’t be reopened with some, startling new evidence.
