The Government Spied on Me. You Could Be Next.

It was bad enough when the Department of Justice under Attorney General Eric Holder engaged in spying on journalist James Rosen (and even spied on his parents' phone records). And the same cast of characters secretly spied on Associated Press reporters -- also in the name of tracking down government leakers.
Amid those discoveries were NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden's revelations about massive government spying on the citizenry, which Director of National Intelligence James Clapper had denied under oath. As the dominos began to fall, Holder expressed some regret, particularly as it applied to the intrusion upon journalists, who until the Obama administration had been considered largely off limits for the government's intel dragnet.
Then there's my case.
During the same period, intelligence sources alerted me that the government was spying on my electronic devices while I was an investigative reporter at CBS News. I was often working with whistleblowers inside the administration: honest people willing to expose bad things going on inside the federal government.

Not possible. Our government doesn’t “spy” on anyone. At least according to Former FBI Director James Comey.

Apparently, coming clean in that way would open a can of worms one I suspect is larger than anything we've heard discussed to date. The "can of worms" would likely involve exposing the activities, persons and approvers who allow this unlawful and expansive intrusion to continue unabated.
She deserves great credit for her personal courage for taking on this battle for every citizen.

Ask Comeystain what became of Deep Throat.
He was convicted of spying on The Weathermen.

“Just a few links to show how the FedGov spied on Sharyl”
Thanks for the information and the links.
I am very familiar with how the Obama administration and the FBI under Comey illegally spied on Sharyl Attkisson.
I am also aware of how the management at CBS News betrayed her.
I am also aware of how the fake news media supported the Obama administration when they illegally spied on her.

I think it all fell apart for poor Sharyl when she reported on the Benghazi scandal.
A journalist telling the truth? No wonder the Deep State hacked her computer and See BS fired her.

And???!!!
Find the democrat prick who did it, and meet the squish at the vegetable section in Publix.
Drag the weenie to the back of the store and kick his a$$.
This isn’t rocket science, people. Kicking butt is how our founders rid themselves of King George spies and bureaucrats. You identified them, dragged them into the street, kicked their butts and they disappeared out of fear of dying.

There is likely a ‘file’
on each and every person in
the technologically connected world.
The only thing that keeps it
from being used against us is
the integrity of it’s gatekeepers.
It will be soon revealed that
those in power have been abusing
the system far far more widely and
to an unimaginable extent and
for even the most frivolous
of reasons.

She has paid a higher price, with less praise, than many.
There are several very worthy journalists extant, mostly women, but I think she is at the top.

They did so corporately, in actual, open warfare. The Founding Fathers were extremely well educated and civilized, and they prosecuted the war for liberation wisely. If they had not done so, they would have lost.
They did not do so individually, as vigilantes, in an advanced-technology state that applies rule of law selectively and aggressively in favor of the “democrat prick” who was assaulted.
