Former Vice President Joe Biden has a 32-point lead in the Democratic presidential race in a Hill-HarrisX poll released Monday.
Biden won 46 percent in the poll compared to 14 percent for Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), who came in a distant second place.
Former South Bend, Ind. mayor Pete Buttigieg was in third place with 8 percent, followed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) with 7 percent.

None of this has anything to do with putting Biden at the top of the DEM ticket and everything to do with getting Sanders out of the race sooner rather than later.
Who is he taking support from?
Go back to 2016 and Iowa. Hillary’s more significant issues in selling herself, was the loss in Iowa where Sanders actually picked up steam and made the primary season more difficult. If you can win in Iowa, and keep Sanders out of the victory circle in the first five primaries....I think his funding will spiral downward, and he’ll be out of the race by the 10th state primary.
Add to it...Sander’s millionaire status shocked about half of the typical voters he could have counted upon. Everyone thought he was just a regular working-class guy, and that story has now been disproven.
Sanders could split from the Dems and run as an independent.
That or maybe he gets another retirement home funded.
Regardless of the P nominee, Pete Buttplug will be the VP nominee.

Even if Sanders only takes 1-2% from the Dems it would be huge.
No, we’re not. The DEMs can throw anyone onto the ticket, and they would pull at least 170 EVs. The demographics have change. No Republican will ever have a landslide like from 1984. No chance a year like 1988 either (Bush I 416-111).

Nancy Pelosi is an idiot but she was right when she said that AOC came from a district that would elect a glass of water. That is what the fight over immigration is all about, whether the Democrats will succeed in so changing the American electorate that they will simply overrun the country. Keep in mind that AOC, as abysmally unqualified as she is, is in the United States Congress because she gained a 17,000 point plurality in a district which was changing its complexion away from long time white representative to a woman of color.
Yes that is one district, but they are turning the whole of America into that district. That means that appeals to reason and logic are, or soon will be, of no avail. Tribalism will dominate and all else must give way. Joe Biden (God help us) will begin to look like the lesser of evils.
