Good riddance to a globalist swamp-dweller.

LOL. Maybe the dumbest think I’ve ever read on FR. If Moore was such a globalist he would have been fast tracked through confirmation by the globalists running the GOP. That his nom was rejected by the GOP should be your clue that he was a good pick.

This is the Left’s playbook - Harass Trump’s nominees until they say, “Eff it, I don’t need this aggravation!” and they split.

I so look forward to “voting for my wife” the next time some garbage progressive corporist GOP is on my ballot and Trump is not in the White House.

Never Trumpist obstruction of POTUS has changed the GOP coalition forever. Of course the GOPe are to arrogant to realize that.

No kidding

Moore is not a legacy minded destroy an economy to prevent inflation sort of guy like so many on the Fed have been since Volker

Volker did his job but since then everyone acts like it’s the same ongoing war
Not to mention some Fed appointees hate Trump and would love to thwart his successes for political aims

Above all the GOP can not allow POTUS to have strong allies in positions of power. So they torpedoes his two picks for the fed. Honestly, at this point POTUS should take any judge nominee suggestions he gets from McConnell and put them in the shredder. The GOP won’t play ball. No reason for POTUS to be a team player.

This is probably the excuse they use for why they hated him, who is a very qualified, reasonable man: https://www.outsidethebeltway.com/fed-nominee-stephen-moore-has-history-of-controversial-remarks-about-women/

The real reason of course is Trump wanted him.

For some people on FR, if you so much as used a restroom in DC you are Deep State.

Post 2020 the Trump DOJ needs to go over Congress with a fine tooth comb. Starting with the legality of all sexual harassment settlements with taxpayer funds.

(We can post tweets)

Steve Moore, a great pro-growth economist and a truly fine person, has decided to withdraw from the Fed process. Steve won the battle of ideas including Tax Cuts....
....and deregulation which have produced non-inflationary prosperity for all Americans. I’ve asked Steve to work with me toward future economic growth in our Country.
