Good riddance to a globalist swamp-dweller.

This is the Left’s playbook - Harass Trump’s nominees until they say, “Eff it, I don’t need this aggravation!” and they split.

This is probably the excuse they use for why they hated him, who is a very qualified, reasonable man: https://www.outsidethebeltway.com/fed-nominee-stephen-moore-has-history-of-controversial-remarks-about-women/

The real reason of course is Trump wanted him.

First Fed nominee to go down for a bad sense of humor?

Too bad.

He was smart and a good economist. Would have been a great addition.

I’m an End the Fed Ron Paul guy, personally. That said, hasn’t the past 2 years proven that the idea of an “independent,” extra-constitutional federal bureaucracy is a terrible idea?

Apparently the learning curve was too steep.

When Trump announced his plan to nominate Moore, the would-be governor told Bloomberg that he didn’t know what the central bank or its board did.

“I’m kind of new to this game, frankly, so I’m going to be on a steep learning curve myself about how the Fed operates, how the Federal Reserve makes its decisions,” he said. “It’s hard for me to say even what my role will be there, assuming I get confirmed.”

The Demonrats WON. Again.

All they have to do is oppo research. In this politically-correct, cultural-Marxist environment they have created, ANYONE can be destroyed. Well, except Trump, and that was only because a) he was independently wealthy and b) people were sick of politics as usual.

How about we just leave the spot open and abolish the Federal Reserve instead.

The writing has been on the wall for a while. This was a flawed candidate with some very serious baggage. The WH needs to do a better job of vetting candidates who require congressional approval. Glad he did the right thing and spared the administration what might have been a lot of embarrassment.

I had thirty years in Defense, State and "intelligence" plus one year on a fellowship on Judiciary Committee in the Senate.

Were I Mr. Moore I would not subject myself or my family to the outrages of (choose One) Leftists, Progressives, Socialists or Democrats.

They are unAmerican, insane, and out of control. God save America from these splinter parties.

I have not read all. Details but what I have read leaves me wondering why he was nominated in the first place. Did they not vet him?! ‘‘Tis is. Big unforced error.
