SCOTUS To Rule On Whether Men Can Wear Women’s Clothes On The Job
The Federalist ^ | April 29, 2019 | Jeana Hallock

Posted on 04/29/2019 11:03:58 AM PDT by detective

If 'sex' in federal law is replaced with 'gender identity,' the government will be unable to ensure equal opportunities for women.

R.G. & G.R. Harris Funeral Homes has been serving grieving families in the Detroit area since 1910. But in recent years, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has targeted this small family-owned funeral home for punishment due to their refusal to participate in an employee’s so-called gender identity preferences.

Why? To achieve its political objective: replacing “sex” in Title VII, a federal law, with “gender identity.” This means bypassing Congress to completely change the meaning of federal laws intended to advance women by including men who say they are women in the same legal categories.

If Harris Funeral Homes loses, it could be forced to pay a price few small businesses can survive—hundreds of thousands of dollars. Worse yet, women could be forced to sacrifice something priceless that they have struggled for decades to achieve: legal equality.

What does an august court do with legislatures full of fools?

Women’s professional dress is no longer just or even primarily skirts. You’ll find more female attorneys, investment bankers, etc., in trim pantsuits than skirts in most major cities.

Easier to not deal with pantyhose, heels, etc., or to fall into the career-ending trap of looking like you’re using your sexuality for manipulative ends.

“I’m certainly glad SCOTUS is taking up important cases like this instead of dealing with cases like more and more Federal Judges stepping in and overruling any action Pres. Trump makes in trying to stop the illegal alien invasion or preventing payment to the baby killers in Planned Infanticide.”

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) targeted this small family-owned funeral home for punishment due to their refusal to participate in an employee’s so-called gender identity preferences.

The EEOC had sued the business, claiming it had discriminated on the basis of sex and the EEOC sought punitive damages.

If SCOTUS had not agreed to hear the case then the EEOC policy and the punitive fines would prevail. No small business would be safe.

Quit making fun of lumberjacks. There is nothing wrong with them. And I should know. I’m a lumberjack, and I’m okay.

Yes, make everyone at the funeral parlor wear unisex shrouds.

I’m just looking to see if I can wear a light sundress and sandals on hot days. If any woman had to commute to NYC on a 90 degree day in a shirt and tie, they’d understand.

He's just a lesbian born in a man's body living the dream.

Any guy who tries this crap among normal society should be disappeared. I can’t believe they’re giving civil privileges to child-sex predators, which these trans freaks most certainly are.

There is no legal definition of “mens’ clothes” or “womens’ clothes.” At present, there appears to be no legal definition of “man” or “woman.”

So anybody can be anything they want and wear anything they want. Anyone can ask for maternity leave and use any bathroom.

And the world is insane.

That’s the thing also...how do you define why is women clothes and men’s clothes? The distinction has become blurred. A lot of women today are wearing what has historically been defined as men’s clothes. Things like slacks, jeans or polos are now worn by both men and women.

What I’ve started to see is many employers don’t even have a men’s and women’s dress code anymore. The write it such a way that applies to both genders. That way they avoid this litigation and debate completely.

How’s all this work with the requirement to register for the draft and the consequences of not doing so?

If SCOTUS says sure, go ahead and wear how you feel, pack up and move.

Steve Martin was ahead of his time.

“I was born a poor black boy.”

Except now he could be a poor black girl, born in Uganda.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I plan on using this to my advantage. I do subcontracting on government construction projects. Many of them require a certain percentage of minority contractors. I currently identify as a black woman, possibly a lesbian.
If I get refused because I am not a DNA and biologically proven black woman I believe I have a strong case.
I can see this “ be whatever you want to be” thing destroying the minority contractor scam which I have always thought was unconstitutional.
Liberalism is ruining everything.
Like how to get out of the Army if there’s a draft. I had a teacher tell me all you had to do was wear a pair of woman’s panties to the physical and make eyes at the Sargent. Can’t do that anymore.
Or are you in sales and don’t make you’re munber two or three months in a row? No problem, just go to work in a dress. (If you’re male) can’t do that anymore either.
This case is just one more reason why I only hire contractors. If the EEOC ever sued me over sh!t like this I was have closed down my business and burned the building to the ground within 48 hours.
