Then get rid of the leaders.
As well they should be. Freaking nut job.
No offense to anyone from Alabama here, but I look at all of the prominent Alabama Republicans I've seen in the news over the last few years: Jeff Sessions, Luther Strange, Richard Shelby, Roy Moore ... and I've got to tell you -- I find it astonishing just how marginal (at best) these people are. Is this really the best y'all have to offer??
The Hill LOLOLOL
Roy Moore didn’t deserve to have his reputation dragged through the mud as a pedophile with the flimsiest of evidence...a good bit of it fabricated. That doesn’t mean that he was a good candidate or would make a good US Senator.
Whoever is running against Doug Jones is going to have to effectively address the Roy Moore slander in a hostile media environment, whether it’s Roy Moore or not.
Even though I believe his election was stolen and the smears were fictional flax meant to provide a cover story for that bi partisan theft, I can’t support this rerun. The odds of holding the Senate are stacked against Republicans and it must be held for when Ginsburg croaks.
I think Roy Moore should bow out, but I do not believe your description of him. He was in the public eye for 30 years and all they could come with was spurious allegations from 30 years ago. I have seen no evidence of anything he did that would compare him to Biden.
Moore lost to Jones once. He’d lose to him again.
Democrats have admitted they paid for phony “Russian bots”, and used them to claim that Moore was Putin’s man.
Or, at least the billionaire who paid for it has admitted it.
For all you people defending Roy Moore, here are his own words
Roy Moore on whether he dated teenage girls: Not generally, no
.....And while he called the story completely false and misleading, he said he didnt dispute that he used to date girls as young as 16
..Moore also added that he doesnt remember ever dating any girl without the permission of her mother.
“In ‘Bama there is no primary. “
There are primary elections in Alabama.
He didn’t have his shot. Party leadership, which despises Deplorables, sabotaged his campaign. And they’ll do it again, rather that have a US Senator who Mitt Romney and his fellow Illuminati can’t control.
I don’t often agree with the party elites but in this case they are right. He is damaged goods. Even setting aside the creepy allegations involving his personal life, he is a certified wing nut. The man is a Dominionist, who is on the record as stating that the Holy Bible (presumably his interpretation) takes precedence over all man made laws including the US Constitution.
He is wack job and patently unfit for any office of public trust.
Voters have the right and duty to decide no matter twhat the politicians want.
They were dead set against him the first time around, and this is before lying bitches "Kavanaughed" him with made up bullsh*t accusations.
The Establishment is against any reform candidate that they think they won't be able to buy off.
That decision is up to the voters of Alabama, not “GOP leaders”. The rest of us don’t have any business sticking our noses into who the people of Alabama send to Congress for them.
I agree, Roy Moore for better or worse is a lightening rod in a state that should be a cake walk for Republicans, heck I would take Jeff Sessions running again before we have to all in for Roy Moore again...
