There’s a Second Amendment revolt coming to America, and soon, if the insane Left-wing faction of the Democrat Party doesn’t stop pushing gun owners — and the Constitution — to their limits.
Oregon, surprisingly, not California, may actually be ground zero.
On Tuesday, the state Senate Judiciary Committee voted to approve Senate Bill 978 which contains a cornucopia of new gun control measures that will effectively criminalize the Second Amendment and all gun owners.

Read the whole thing. The bill did not pass the senate. It passed in a committee.
It is just posturing, and we don’t need to get our knickers in a twist over it.

We bought a small piece of land out of town in rural southern Oregon, thinking it would be a nice place to raise a family.
It was not what we expected. Liberal whiners everywhere. Complaining about issues they should have left in California before migrating north to Oregon....to ruin it too.
We only lasted a few years before we realized that Oregon (at least west of the Cascades) was not what it appeared at first blush.
We sold our little farm and high-tailed it to Arizona where the liberals had not latched on to it yet with their Marxist tentacles.
One of these days, law enforcement is going to show up somewhere to a group of armed citizens. Then more citizens will show up, then more law, then more citizens... then shooting. Civil War 2 is very close.
Yep. I knew a bunch of people in Silicon Valley who retired and moved to the Ashland - Grants Pass corridor. S. Oregon Coast, as well. Gold Beach, etc.
Every Red State should pass a transfer tax.
It would go something like this. If you move into the state and are moving from a state that has a higher personal income tax rate, your tax rate is that of the state you are moving from for a period of five years. In other words, if you liked the policies of the state that you destroyed by voting for high taxes, then we in this Red State would simply not want to deprive you of those policies. We want you to feel right at home continuing to live in the poop you created.
