The Dolt? Now that sounds like a car dedicated to Obama.
Building junk that nobody wants; well maybe the elitist lefties to show solidarity with the global warming people.
20 new models of electric cars by 2023. I’m amazed that there is such massive demand for electric cars. Shocked even.
GM’s big thing for the last decade or so has been SUVs and pickup trucks. Their passenger car business hasn’t done well. If they’re serious about this electric thing, it’s kind of puzzling why they’ve focused on small passenger cars rather than taking the lead with electric SUVs— a middle-class version of Tesla’s X or Audi’s E-tron.
the DOLT was the infamous car that burst into flames more often than the Pinto..yeah more electric cars to make out of spite for Trump lol.
“...and build a new electric vehicle at a factory north of Detroit.,,”
If I want to drive an electric vehicle I’ll go to a carnival or golf course...assholes.
Better get the windmill upgrade to charge this electric lemon.
Even in metro Detroit the Volt was seldom seen.

There isn’t much demand. Even Tesla sales are way off after having their $7500 tax credit cut in half.

Interesting. Are we developing an economic system in which the government doesn’t own industries but does dictate what shall be produced, at what location, and in what quantity?
Electric cars require too much electricity to operate. As the libs continue shutting down power plants, your electric car is destined to become a lawn ornament.
I saw what you did there...

Take away the taxpayer subsidies for these Chemical polluters and watch how many get sold. GM was the best US car manufacturer by far. All of that is gone and GM can die now.
Yay, more exploding golf carts!
You raise a good point. If the Green New Deal advocates were to get their way, US energy production and use would depend on when the sun shines and the wind blows. I doubt many liberal college research professors would agree that this is a good idea. A fair amount of their research takes years of constant conditions to return results. Long term power outages kills research projects.
The Volt was a disaster, so GM is going to burn more money with the Bolt. Jerks.
They need to come out with something in contest to the Pacifica hybrid. Which uses a lot of F1 technology as there are various ways to produce electricity improve fuel milage and while maintaining speed.
I don’t have a problem with electric cvehicles they have their uses in certain areas such as urban areas or perhaps amongst fleet vehicles. Where I live I don’t think it would be that practical because I can put a hundred miles on my car just running down to make appointments or even do conduct certain job estimates. A hybrid would work though.
LOL
Very good one...
What is the definition of insanity? Something about doing the same thing and expecting a different result?
