Advisers to former Vice President Joe Biden want him to name failed Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams as his running mate on day one of his 2020 presidential bid, it was revealed on Thursday.
They argue Abrams would bring diversity and youth to the ticket plus show Biden 'isn't just another old white guy,' Axios reported.
But the move also has its down falls: it would be seen as a gimmick and would risk Biden having to explain why none of the other Democratic primary candidates qualify to be his number two.

2020 democratis presidential candidates in 2020. Best news in that none of them will win.
The left can’t just see people as people. They need to find tokens that check off at least two of their checklist boxes. And the tokens are rarely allowed to be on the top of the ticket. Zerobama was an aberration in that regard.
