Nebraska State Sen. Ernie Chambers is taking criticism for calling the American flag a "rag" and comparing it to the Nazi swastika.
Chambers (I) made the comments Tuesday as he spoke out against a state bill that would update civics requirements for students.
"I don't come here for this rag every day, and it's a rag. That's all it is to me," Chambers said in reference to the flag. "When you show a way to persuade Jews to sanctify and worship the swastika, when you show me that I'll come up here and stand while you all hypocritically pretend that rag is something that it definitely is not."

So what ghetto town does he live in that keeps reelecting him?
...a thousand words
...a thousand words
Basically, he represents the only ghetto in Nebraska.
Yeah...
Really, someone had better take this loser behind the barn for an attitude check. Them’s fightin’ words.
If this *sshat doesn’t like it here, find a better place.
And I know one particular continent where there most definitely isn’t even a place at all, let alone a finer one.
I’m getting sick and tired of these so-called profs who do not belong anywhere near a real college spouting this bull Obama.
Would that I could face this dork and call him an *sshat to his face.
The good people of Nebraska should tar and feather this creep
When the country you live in doesn’t feel right to you, and you feel that you need to attack it, then, YOU JUST DON’T BELONG IN IT.
What did the Europeans do when they felt persecuted and needed to find a ‘better’ place? They up and left and created a better future and a new and better country.
Do the same,idiot!
Go to hell you useless POS and every idiot in Nebraska that voted for the POS.
><
He’ll probably receive as many or more votes in the next election.
He’s still there?
I can’t believe others haven’t found a way to get rid of him.
Is there a large minority voter group in Nebraska?
Time has come today!
I think he represents the black section of Omaha.
He has been there for decades.
This Chambers POS is 81 years old, which is old enough to know better, or he’s a Democrat. OH WAIT! I see he IS a Democrat. Explains the whole thing.
I used to teach at Creighton back in the early 1970’s and he was a crazy communist then. Clearly, he hasn’t changed.
A rag? Really? Then how’s this rag? https://www.youtube.Com/watch?v=jcsPD2wc_rY
Yes, he’s from Omaha all right; the Near North Side. Been a troublemaker since the 1960s. Graduated law school, but refused to pay Bar Association dues and therefore could not practice law. Got fired from the postal service for insubordination; he claimed it was because he was speaking out against black staff being called “boys”. He was involved in the 1966 summer riots as a “negotiator” for his community, which was probably the beginning of his political career. Tried to defend two Black Panthers who were charged in the bombing death of a policeman. He’s the chief motivator of the 1989 Franklin Credit Union child prostitution hoax.
And most infamously, he filed a lawsuit against his Creator in 2007, accusing Him of “certain harmful activities and the making of terroristic threats of grave harm to innumerable persons, including constituents” of Chambers’ district.
Way past time for him to go.
Lets take this post for example - can you explain why this is news? Can you define the purpose of this post?
Ok, we have a crazy ass black dude whos likely hung over or still drunk from the night before - and . . . . . .
Isn’t this retarded ***hole one of the Muppets on TV? It sounds like Nebraska went full retard electing this maggot.
Probably? Almost certainly. Only Omaha and Lincoln went for Hillary. The rest of the state (91 of 93 counties) was solidly Trump.
And yes, he represents NEB's 11th district, the north side of Omaha.
