What happened to Beto’s El Paso anti Trump rally? Have not heard much about it. Was he and his followers busy tearing down border walls?

I can't imagine these crazy politicians who wish to destroy America so they can become part of the elitist swamp with their own walls and riches!
.....AND IDIOTS VOTE FOR THEM!

No way ! Wouldn’t it cost just as much money to dismantle it (if not more).. ?
Besides, what would be the justification? Another state of emergency??
The wall is permanent. This is precisely why they’re fighting it tooth & nail.

As old leftist “Uncle” Walter Cronkite always said on signing off: “That’s the way it is!”

Most, if not all members of Congress (and at least their senior staff members) are on the take from multiple sources.

Oh, you are so wrong. Being on the take covers a lot of things besides outright payments. It involves vote buying for one example. Washing illicit campaign contributions through various front organizations for another. The corrupt and greedy never have enough money or power.

Perhaps Beto ORourke is on the take from an organization like La Raza may be lining his pockets and putting him on strings like a puppet. Any other person would have more common sense.Either no common sense, or will say anything to get ahead.
The bribe theory seems unlikely, since IIRC he has married up to a billionaire heiress. But, maybe like Fredo in Godfather II, he wants to make something on his own. Possible, but not my high probability explanation. I think he's a self-inflated fool.

This is exactly why we need a far more massive and permanent wall than this steel slat bullshit, Mr. President.

But it isn’t permanent.
The type of wall being erected, steel slats, is obviously temporary.
We need a wall that is not only to big too easily remove, we also need one with defensive positions on it, because it is going to need to be defended at some point soon.

"I come in peace. I didnt bring artillery. But Im pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you f*** with me, Ill kill you all. James Mad Dog Mattis"
That is a great quote, but our Congress, as demonstrated in the atrocity of a bill to be signed this Morning, is more likely to direct that the artillery be turned on us rather than the invaders. We now have a Legislative (and Judicial) branch of government which acts as if they are an enemy government bent on our destruction.

The fake Hispanic, Beto, would do better clearing up problems with his family’s furniture store’s money laundering and tax issues.
