FULL TITLE: Todd Starnes: I had a front-row seat at Trump's State of the Union -- You won't believe what I saw
I was honored to be among those Americans selected to sit in the House gallery at the State of the Union address Tuesday night. I was a guest of Rep. Jody Hice, a Republican congressman from Georgia.
It was one of those uniquely American moments – where strangers sat together – many of opposing political views – united under the belief that we are a free people, one nation – under God.
My seatmate was a Democrat from Illinois. She runs a non-profit food pantry in Aurora. We found common ground by talking about food – the belief that no American should ever have to go to bed hungry.
Also in my section was an investment guy from the Silicon Valley and a Packers fan from Wisconsin – and a decorated Army Ranger from Texas. He was gracious as all of us shook his hand and thanked him for his service.
In advance of the big night I had to provide the congressman’s staff with my name and birthdate and Social Security number. It all made perfect sense what with the president and the vice president and all the other important people in the House chamber.
So you can imagine my surprise when I learned there were several DACA recipients in the audience and one was seated in our midst. How she gained entry into the building without a Social Security card is beyond me.

No, illegal aliens do NOT hide in the shadows.
They are in your face about it.
I taught federal government for 5-yrs at a local college. I always knew if I had an illegal alien in my class. How? Simple. Within the first two-weeks of class they would tell me/the class. They are PROUD of being illegal.
Oh, and the college did not ask for proof of residence so they claim they have been living here for three-years or more. . .and because the administrators knew they were illegal, they didn’t have to produce proof they were living in-state for at least three-years. . Hence, in-state fees and tuition for illegals.
Out of state students had to produce all sorts of proof about who they are, what state they are residing in and then these out of state students would be forced to pay out of state rates.
Illegals not being challenged, administrators know they are illegals but don’t want to challenge them. . .after all, the administrators and faculty are almost exclusively liberal and support illegal aliens.
I resent the fact that an illegal gained entrance, where I, a citizen and a veteran could not get in.

Was she paid or volunteer? Demopcrat Campaign Finance Reform makes it illegal illegal to pay a non-citizen to do campaign work. (eg Hillary/DNC illegally paid Christopher Steele).
But it is legal for a non-Citizen to volunteer and not be paid.

He’s married with 2 kids. Then I again, I knew a guy with 3 kids. Couldn’t believe it when I found out years later he left them for another guy (never met his wife and kids). Nice guy, too.
This Democrat DOES look like he’d be wearing some eye shadow.
