For decades, conservatives have not been welcomed in the Democratic Party. Today, neither moderates nor mainstream liberals have a home in the party.

And just so everyone's on the same page, liberals (other than classical liberals) are also not welcome in the Republican Party.

This thing with the Gov. in Virginia shows that someone is pulling the puppet strings. This is the guy who ran this ad against his Republican opponent in 2016:

I mention that ad because:
If the Republicans had his yearbook, they would have used it then. The Republicans obviously didn’t have the yearbook, ergo, they weren’t the ones who released the yearbook photo a few days ago. The democrats released the yearbook photo. They sabotaged one of their own.
The reason for this is because the guy basically came out in favor of killing babies. The press had to ask all of the democrat big shots what they thought of killing babies. The democrats were very uncomfortable by this line of questioning and needed to make those baby killing questions go away. The release of the yearbook photo immediately brought the questions back to the safety of condemnation of the klan.
So, someone ran this guy for governor with the knowledge that they could throw him under the bus at any time. He could also be blackmailed by threats of releasing the pictures. This is as Machiavellian as it gets.
