Trump has opportunity to flip the 9th Circuit, so why isn’t he?

Rush and Jacobsen are absolutely correct when it comes to Trump’s appointments to the Ninth Circuit.

65 y/o Judge Mark J. Bennett was appointed in July and is a Social Liberal.

Whoever is advising Trump on the Ninth Circuit picks is doing a horrible job.

I suspect the reality is these are WH picks in name only. McConnell has his fingers in this pie without a doubt, too.

Sorry. At some point, you have to take responsibility for the people you hire and put into positions of authority. And at some point, the buck has to stop at the top. Many of Trump’s problems are self-inflicted because he hired bad people...and saying that’s not his fault is passing the buck. It’s a cop-out. Real leaders don’t do that. They own everything.

Oh, really? And what happened when POTUS broached the possibility of firing Sleepy Sessions? He was immediately attacked by half the Senate GOP (who outrageously promised to not confirm a successor) and spent the next week pulling knives out of his back.

There are not exactly a lot of conservative Republicans in Hawaii, so Bennett was the best pick for that seat.

I’m sorry but it is impossible for a 65 year old to ever be the “best pick” for a Judicial seat.

That’s right, a 65 year old is a “sucker’s pick”. Nominees should be in their 40s or, at most, very early 50s. These are lifetime appointments and we want constitutional conservatives to be in office for many, many years.

None but ONE is perfect. You are spot on in his accomplishment list. Yet this morning, turning RUSH on, he too, was making points as to POTUS' choice in personnel. DJT is a businessman, once on the fringe of politics. When he jumped into the ring, apparently he did so with few 'buddies' and he found it necessary to swim alone. Rush made some great points. NOT TO CRITICIZE, only explain what the lay of the land might be. The President has made choices in which there were questions from this direction. But as to his loyality to the American people, there can be no denying. Other than R. Reagan, what other president have we elected that even came close to treating us with as much respect, love. Who else actually told truths as opposed to the mush pushed down our throats. I trust Trump. PERIOD.

I see the concern trolls are out in force again.....many probably only read the headline and one or two sentences then start with the “Trump better not screw this up” crap because their pea brains are overtaxed with one or two thoughts and they keep forgetting all he has accomplished so far and how he keeps fighting despite the evil hordes aligned against him and the fickle idiots he has for “supporters’...

Perhaps they are so accustomed to losing that it is a hard habit to break, or they are so terrified of the future as tey stare into the abyss.

As for me, my hope is in the LORD God of Israel and His promises.

Umm, he just re-nominated his previous picks for the 9th and made a new one that immediately drew the ire of the CA Senators.

Yes, V K. Swimming alone is no problem when you’re in the class of Olympians.

In past administrations, Cabinet members in power would stay there and only occasionally be let go.

Trump is working for us! And he’s constantly watching whether a certain person is moving We the People’s Ball or just dribbling it around the court.

He’s a true Executive and Manager of our Nation. When Trump is out of office in 2024, we’re going to yearn for shoes very hard to fill: a fantastic manager of a large organization who is also a patriot and lover of this country.

Trump not only wants to SCORE, he wants to RUN UP THE SCORE for us!

He should have never hired sleepy in the first place. He should have just fired him instead of taking his battle to Twitter and to the press.

I spent 31 years in the military and leaders who made their problems with subordinates public, rather than dealing with them privately...well...it really hurt the morale of the rest of the team. Did I have leaders that made public examples of people? YOU BET! I did that. But I didn't let bad behavior drag on and just let things go on and on.

He didn't just broach the subject once. He did it on almost a weekly basis. If he was that unhappy he should have just fired him. He knows how to say it. Consequences be damned. There have been a LOT of bad hires. Omerosa Anyone?
