GORDON, Wisconsin The man accused of kidnapping Jayme Closs and killing her parents in October had "absolutely" no contact with the family before the brutal slayings, her aunt told Fox News, as the first glimpse of the home where the teenager was allegedly held for months was revealed on Sunday.
Authorities in northern Wisconsin removed the barricade blocking the house in rural Gordon on Sunday morning, where authorities say brave 13-year-old Jayme Closs escaped captivity last Thursday.
Investigators had closed off the entire neighborhood for days as they carefully gathered evidence inside the home of Jaymes suspected captor, 21-year-old Jake Thomas Patterson. So far, police have not given any details on what type of conditions the house might contain.

The home where Closs was allegedly held captive has two structures -- a two-story house and then a two car garage with what appears to be a boat covered by tarps.

There were posters here on FR saying she might of known or had previous contact with the suspect and that she might of been running away with him.
Since the police had asserted there was nothing in her social media months ago, and since it was reported that he was apprehended driving around with the shotgun trying to find her, and since since it was reported that she was unwashed, skinny, and without proper shoes when she found help, yes.
Making that assertion AFTER the reporting immidiately after she was rescued was uncalled for.
So is spewing nastiness on people who feel sorry for a little girl who will hopefully live to grow up now and will still hear whispers of that assertion all of her life.
I grew up in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
One of my sister’s school friends was a kid named Michelle Guse.
Not a kid next door she saw every day, but they went to each other’s birthday parties and shared after school activities.
When she was nine, Michelle was killed along with two other girls at a girl scout camp in Locust Grove. To this day my sister hears speculation that one of the girls was in an incestuous relationship with her father, and let a murderer in.
Bullshit.
It says something about you that you couldn’t read four threads about Jayme Closs being found to see if my assertion was accurate before attempting to call me out for that nasty (to you from your post) habit of defending a little girl who has survived a lot.
Why don’t you go back and look at the previous four Jayme Closs threads and see if specific people did make such assertions even in the face of what was known?
I never claimed no contact. You will in fact find that I previously made a conjecture about how she was chosen that has since been confirmed.
The whole story is quite amazing about the fortitude of this young gal considering her age and that 'she actually saw' her parents blown away... ....he preplanned to use rifle bullets that would do the greatest damage with one shot and that's certainly what happened. hen to be dragged out of her house taped up and thrown in a trunk..... alone would put her in a state of shock and great fear for some time.
This is one case where the death penalty should be swift. He's a serial murderer and pedophile so he would do it again.
“It says something about you that you couldnt read four threads about Jayme Closs being found to see if my assertion was accurate”
It wasn’t. It was slander.
“before attempting to call me out for that nasty (to you from your post) habit of defending a little girl who has survived a lot.”
You weren’t defending a little girl; you were just bad-mouthing FR posters and using this as an excuse for that.
He must have seen her in her yard before getting on the school bus since he knew where she lived. He may have been stuck behind the bus when she came out of her house. I read she had a dog, Molly. Was the dog home during the shooting?

Ed Gein lived in Plainfield, which is in central Wisconsin, better known for its potato region and sandy soil. Sure there are wooded areas there, but it is south of Green Bay and Stevens Point.
The area where Closs was found is waaaayyyyy up north by comparison.
Sorry for the confusion of poorly referring to a prior post.
I was responding to message #5 which mentioned people on FR saying that it was all a setup by her to kill her parents and run off with her 21-year-old ‘boyfriend’.
This jumped to #14 where that poster accused #5 of slandering FR readers by thinking they would say something like this.
I then posted that I had already seen FR posters speculating on just this fact on other threads.
From everything I’ve read, there is absolutely no cause for this speculation.
Don’t shoot the messenger.
I read she had a dog, Molly. Was the dog home during the shooting?
One article mentioned that she heard a dog barking before Patterson broke into the house. Maybe that was her dog.
Odd he would not shoot the dog too. At any rate, apparently he was cruel to animals. Go figure.
I wasn’t shooting at you, but at those who thought she was in on the murder of her folks. My replies #49 and #50 were along those lines. Still more to come out on the story, but the killer was a very bad person.
Understood.
People have a difficult time accepting that there are bad people in the world who plan and do terrible things to others. They not only chose to step over the lines of law and morality but can and do 'recognize' they are doing just that.
He quit his job at the factory where he worked, supposedly unknowingly with the parents, and began working on his plan to capture her.
This jumped to #14 where that poster accused #5 of slandering FR readers by thinking they would say something like this.
Well, no, thats not where the slander lay. Anybody might speculate and wonder about the circumstances before the facts come out. Theres nothing intrinsically wrong with that.
However, thats not what was said about FR posters in #5. Go look. Many of the posters on FR were called sick individuals who were desperately determined to believe she was involved. They dont need evidence, thats just the story they decided to believe early on.
Lot of them out there.
Want to tell me how thats *not* insulting to FR posters?
Can you direct me to a post wherein the poster was a sick individual who was desperately determined to believe she was involved, and who didn’t need evidence, but had just decided to believe that early on?
N.B., idle speculation doesn’t meet the terms. The poster must be “desperately determined” to believe the girl was involved.
My apologies. I didn't mean to infer that you had made such a conjecture. I simply saw it as a continuum, with "no contact" on one end and "she planned it with him" on the other. I find "no contact" to be very hard to believe, and I also find "she planned it with him" highly unlikely. I figured the truth was somewhere in the middle, as it usually is.
