A man tries to kidnap a woman by forcing her into his car, in north Charlotte. She breaks free, and runs into a nearby karate studio pleading for help.
You can already see how this ends: with the suspect being carried out on a stretcher after a fight with a karate head instructor.
The incident happened at 9 pm Thursday outside Bushiken Karate Charlotte Dojo, according to CNN affiliate WSOC and the head instructor, Randall Ephraim.

I hope there is video of that!
Kinda like the would-be car-jacker that tried to car-jack the FSU Karate Team’s van..................
"I then went into action defending myself and got him out of the dojo. Once outside he attempted to attack again and was dealt with accordingly."
Wonderful ending!
“He was taken to the hospital with injuries. There’s no word on his condition at this point.”......................
Ever see something you wish you had a camera with you?
Many years ago there was a karate studio in the suburban area of Riverside. On one side of the Karate studio was a accident lawyers office, and the other side of the Karate Studio was a Chiropractors office.
I thought it was funny.
Last week I watched a pile of Andy Griffith dvd’s. A burly man was menacing Barney. Andy went to the karate studio and got the instructor to impersonate Barney.
The bully ambushed him and got hurt all over.
Life imitates art.
“He was taken to the hospital with injuries.”
Best line in the story.
LOL. "Dealt with accordingly" meaning had the crap beaten out of him.
I hope there is video of that!

Story didn’t have a video but it reminded me of a good one I had seen before:

wow! talk about great advertising for that karate studio!
...just search “kidnap attempt Charlotte”....seems Charlotte has a problem with this sort of thing...
Location, location, location...
That was judo.
For decades in a small town close to where I grew up there were two businesses in one building on their main street: a funeral home and a barbeque cafe.
:-)
Anyone else remember hearing about several thugs that decided to mug some guy in a convenience store parking lot by Quantico? Found out the hard way he was the Seal hand to hand combat instructor.
And he will have some explaining to do to the judge and might be responsible for other assaults. One less vermin off the street.
I’ll never forget the time a guy tried to rob a female member of my boxing gym.
Then this little druggie punk pulled a knife. One of our smallest guys stepped up and said, “I got this.”
Two seconds later...it was over. LOL
Oh, it is a flock of ambulance chasing lawyers lighting on the scene.
Poor honest American will be dealt with by our injustice department.
