I'm reprinting this from an earlier thread...

"The question is what is the best way to fight it."

Certiorari.

Ballot-handling cannot escape chain-of-custody outside of elected election officials.

Again, just a simple article detailing California's illegally placing ballot-handling in the hands of nutroots who are not sworn elected election official.

There are state laws nearly everywhere that prohibit ballot 'electioneering' anywhere beyond a polling place set perimeter.

There are a plethora of 2019 off-election primaries in the next 6 months. If someone like O'Keefe can infiltrate the very likely attempt by Democrats somewhere like Illinois to immediately expand ballot dumping and publish the viral video; we have the opportunity to not just end this sedition permanently, but also begin a Federal invest into exactly what happened in Kali, and put rank-and-file Democrats in jail.

This is the missing ingredient - putting these door-to-door shitknobs in prison, thereby warning off any future attempt to subvert elections in this manner. Just in time for 2020.

The other half of loaf of bread, is to realize that Kalifornia is gone, and pick a state like Arizona that can be saved with just a strong dose of rock-ribbed conservatism.

I see your point about the election being a state function..

HOWEVER

I see no reason why a set of standards could be made law that a state election for a federal office must meet before the FedGov would recognize the election or the results of an election.

I see no reason why a set of standards could be made law that a state election for a federal office must meet before the FedGov would recognize the election or the results of an election.

It would be ruled unconstitutional because Article I Section 5 already addresses this:

Each House shall be the Judge of the Elections, Returns and Qualifications of its own Members,

To "make it law" would require both chambers to agree on a bill, and the President to sign it. This would be a violation of separation of powers because there is no reason for a President to approve or veto a Constitutional Article I Legislative power to determine the qualifications of its own members.

Each chamber may do as you suggest on its own, but each Congress would not be bound by them unless they are voted into the rules and adopted by each future Congress.

The simplest approach would be for each chamber to accept or reject an allegedly tainted winner on a case by case basis, as stipulated by Article I Section 5.

They get away with it because Republicans do nothing about it like everything else when it comes to democrats. Think about it: We hold both houses and the WH yet for the past two years Democrats have been bitch slappin us like they run everything.

Federal courts won’t look at it under the guaranty clause. Political question for Congress to deal with, but it will never happen.

Civil war is inevitable and it should not be feared.

>>They get away with it because Republicans do nothing about it like everything else when it comes to democrats.<<

I think they get away with it because the mainstream press is absolutely complicit in the fraud.

Imagine the impact on the electorate if every mainstream news outlet hammered on ballot harvesting for a week or two (which, incidentally, they would definitely do if it were the GOP doing the ballot harvesting.)

What we are learning (again) is that propaganda works. That’s why one of the first moves of every would-be tinhorn dictator is to take over the radio and tv stations.

The left owns the printing presses in America today. Until someone figures out a way to change that, we’re headed straight for totalitarianism. Ironically, once we get there, the members of the press will be some of the first to be disposed of due to the threat they would pose should they ever come to their senses.

this totally disenfranchises the rest of us....our votes do not count when one state can destroy the rule of law so blatantly..

They are slowly replicating California’s actions in Virginia.

Northern Virginia is now so heavily democrat controlled that Virginia is now permanently blue.

When Republican lose control of the state senate and house in next year’s elections, democrats will be in total control of Virginia in perpetuity.

They are already fixing the vote with illegal alien and green card voting, felon voting, unpurged voter roles, mail in ballots and early voting.

You might as well not even bother voting.

I keep thinking that might be the way to go, vote only in those races that are carried out in a semi-sane way, leave the rest blank. However, after heard the horror stories of ballot harvesting, ballot changing, etc., I plan to vote for someone in every contest, even if it's "Mickey Mouse" as a write-in candidate. If I don't care who wins, I want to be sure that my non-votes aren't mysteriously changed to vote for the candidate of the Lyin' Left.

Combine "ballot harvesting" with the National Popular Vote movement, and one can see the danger that the Electoral College protects us from. Currently, all those "harvested" ballots stay in California. Can you imagine what would happen if they counted nationally for President? -PJ

About thirty years ago, it was "common knowledge" that absentee votes never changed election results.

Said another way, absentee ballots reflected the average of votes.

Ballot harvesting is not traditional absentee balloting; it is going door-to-door asking people for their ballots. It assumes that the voter is distracted or otherwise disincentivized to vote, and gets their vote right there at their front door. I'm not sure if people even have to have a ballot or the harvesters bring blanks for people to sign and the harvester fills in the votes later.

It is illegal practically everywhere to ekectioneer within 50 to 100 feet of a polling place (including wearing hats, shirts, or even colors), but the polling place has moved to our front doors with the increase of vote-by-mail and no-reason absentee voting.

My point was, the Rat Party has learned they have sufficient Rats to scam the absentee ballot system in just 30 years.
