Conservative author Jerome Corsi revealed Monday he plans to reject a potential deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to plead guilty to perjury.
Corsi detailed his plans in an email to The Associated Press and statements to other news outlets.
"They can put me in prison the rest of my life," Corsi told CNN. "I am not going to sign a lie."
Corsi is connected with political operative Roger Stone, who has said he believes Mueller is investigating whether he had advance knowledge of WikiLeaks releasing hacked emails of Democrats during that campaign.
In a statement to Fox News on Monday, Stone denied advanced knowledge of email hacking.
“I continue to see that my friend Dr. Jerry Corsi is being harassed by the Special Counsel, not for lying, but for refusing to lie,” Stone said.
Stone added: “It is inconceivable that in America someone would be prosecuted for refusing to swear to a false narrative pushed on him by the Mueller investigators. If Jerry ever deduced that Mr. Podesta’s emails had been purloined and would be published by WikiLeaks, he did not share that conclusion with me.”
Earlier this month, Corsi revealed online that he had received a subpoena from two FBI agents who arrived unannounced on Aug. 28 at his home.
He said his ongoing negotiations with Mueller and his team have "just blown up" in the two months since, even though he said he "did everything" he could to cooperate and thought he was "doing a pretty good job" of it, including by turning over two computers to investigators and giving the FBI permission to review all of his email accounts and tweets.
"This has been one of the most frightening experiences of my life,” Corsi said.

What Mueller wants to avoid is putting anyone on trial. Then he have to submit to rules of evidence, chain of custody, witnesses, and cross examination. Then his own conduct becomes subject to examination.
wikileaks didn’t have hacked DNC emails.
The lying media told us that those were “possibly” fakes and that we shouldn’t read what they had to say about CNN rigging the DNC primary town halls and spirit cooking and other unpleasantries...

So, Corsi's PhD in political science from Harvard isn't as noteworthy or relevant as Blasey-Ford's PhD in educational psychology from USC? So transparent.

I may not agree with all he says/writes but he is

Wikileaks put out Podesta’s emails, which were obtained thru phishing(apparently). Podesta was a private citizen. Podesta hasn’t, to my knowledge, claimed that his bank account information, credit card information, credit cards used fraudulently, money withdrawn from accounts fraudulently. Since Podesta was a private citizen, nothing he had on there, or should have had on there, is/was classified government information. At least nothing that was published by Wikileaks.
The DNC is a private entity and also, had it’s data breached and published on Wikileaks. Again, nothing with government classified information(shouldn’t be any classified material). No money stolen, account info stolen, just embarrassing information about their corruption, that they allege cost her the election.
Question .... What federal statute has been violated? What crime, state or federal, has been violated?
If anything, Seth Rich violated a non-disclosure agreement, maybe, that is civil in nature, maybe.
Just imagine what they can to any of us.
And apparently rely on witnesses that he is trying to prosecute for lying.
Up until now, I’d regraded Corsi as a conspiracy hack. The fact he refuses to bend to the will of the Mueller-Weissman gang is worthy of respect.

The entire thing is a big fat nothingburger. Meuller is evil and out to get anyone and everyone. He’s the one who needs to be answering questions on why he closed the file on the Tsarnaev family after being warned by England, Saudi Arabia and Russia. And why he let the msm have free reign of the San Bernardino apartment, and, and, and, and...
Two weeks in jail for Papadopoulos is beyond silly. It takes longer for the ink to dry.
I think this could be one of the more significant elements of this whole witch hunt scam.
Corsi has thrown down the challenge to take him to court at which time he will demand discovery of all Meuller has collected over the last two years and also where his input and information has come from.
I think he's just put Mueller and the dems up against the wall.
