To me much more of a big deal than some foreign journalist being killed in Turkey. Build the wall.

I wonder if that asshat Democrat Congresscritter would threaten to use nukes if the cartels didn’t turn in their guns? Probably not.

Reason #1 (out of about 150 reasons) why I’ve never set foot in Mexico...and *never* will.

No where in Mexico is safe. Anyone going to Mexico even on a cruise is a fool. Below is an example of going places where you should know better. Liberals never know better!!

I've been saying that for at least 10 years. Even Tijuana is a no-go zone for this gringo. I used to slip into Algadones (near Yuma) for dental work once in a while due to the 1/3 price there but I'm reluctant to even go there anymore. It's just not worth the risk plus if you catch it during snowbird season it a 2 hour wait to walk back across.

Patrick Braxton-Andrew

Hyphenated with his wife’s maiden name. I had a friend do that, before he left his wife for a man.

Insight into his mind. Chances are he believed all people are basically good.

A couple of years ago there was a story here of somebody from Texas who disappeared in Mexico while on a dental trip

Yep. Traveling in remote areas? This person was full of pure idiocy. Going to Cancun and Cabo and sorta OK. That is it.

Yep, people with hyphenated last names, gives you insight into their mindset. Some women do this to keep their maiden name as part of their name.

Is it considered offensive nowadays to talk of a woman’s maiden name??

It’s further insight if a woman keeps her maiden name only, as Hillary Clinton originally did.

Medical tourism is huge down there, but not long ago there was a doctor who had killed a few of his patients, and they keep it really hushed up, and he receives NO PUNISHMENT from his country or whatever board they have (who I’m sure takes bribery). This doc is still advertising on websites for plastic surgery.

Mexico has long been a dangerous place.

Was he as innocent as they’re saying? Why was he down there without his family? Why was he off the beaten path? Under what circumstances did he cross paths with the drug cartel? What did he do to the cartel to make them target him?

Not if she's actually a maiden, which is, of course, not probable.

As one who has made many trips to Mexico, Uganda and other interesting places like Sudan, Somalia and that garden spot of Southeast Asia, Vietnam, I can assure you that while many who know me best will, indeed, affirm that I'm "a little off", they will also (hopefully) testify that I am far from insane.

You really need to get out a bit. Learn a bit of situational awareness. This 'white boy from Georgia' once even worked in Cabrini Green, Chicago!

You also need to study some on the use of absolutes in your writing. These links will get you started.

There was a woman just the other day who went down there for a nose job and may end up a vegetable.
