Which is highly likely. It's Broward. People steal the wallets of car crash victims. Even without finding a gun, forensic experts can easily determine if the decedent pulled the trigger.

I have heard that during suicide by firearm the body releases the gun upon death. Very rarely do the victims hold onto the weapon. Some passerby found a way around background checks.

A few decades ago a guy was found dead on an Army base and the CID ruled it suicide. He apparently beat himself bloody, then shot himself twice in the back of the head. These little things happen.
On a much, much smaller scale. Several years back a USAF major ran into the side of my pickup where I had the right of way. It turned out he was the head OSI dude on base. I got the ticket because I never had my insurance card with me. I produced it the next day and got a ticket for being at fault in the accident. My driving privileges were suspended, but the USAF cops let me drive anyway as they knew the major was an a$$.
Dems will go to any lengths to avoid a RICO investigation for election fraud. A special prosecutor will be needed.
If you shoot yourself in the head, it’s likely there will be a spasm and the gun will be found withing 10 feet at most....more likely within 3 feet.
Some time back there was a guy out west who tied helium balloons to a pistol and then offed himself.
