The Middle East is a cesspit.
And very few Westerners understand it, or the reasons for its seemingly irrational importance in world affairs.
2. His Afghanistan "journalism" was Jihadi propaganda.
3. He remained a supporter of Islamic terrorism
4. He was an old friend of Osama bin Laden and mourned his death....These are all facts.
The Washington Post gave Jamal Khashoggi a forum to promote the Muslim Brotherhood and its agenda.
Turkey is sucking up to Russia. Iran and Russia are good buddies. The US, via the Saudis, are the only thing that stand in the way of Iran being the dominate regional power.
The propaganda ploy here is so ham handed and obvious the ONLY people too stupid to see it are the scum suckers in the US Clown media.
Our nation is being invaded & our culture diluted by Third World sludge. Later for this murder, committed by foreigners in a foreign land.
Washington Post: Enemy of the People
The guy was a Muslim Brotherhood jihadi, plain and simple.
But the Saudis should’ve been more discreet in how they ...handled this.
This needs to be held off until after the mid term election, which will be easy to do. The thornier problem is the Honduran Caravan. We don’t need to have troops on our border until after the election as well. Hopefully, the UN/Mexico nonsense will continue to offer “cover” until after the election is concluded.
I suspect a review of his journalism will reveal a constant anti-American, pro-radical Islam theme.
This guy was a bad egg. Would probably have never got our, but Turkey found out about it, (I assume the Saudi embassy is bugged). IOWs this guy was dirty with terrorist ties that were against us, Israel and the Saudi Royal Family.
Some brave men, carried out the assignment to kill him, I say brave NOT for what they did, but for what might now happen to them, as they may be thrown under the bus to save the Saudi regime.
Best thing to do now, is push it off as long as possible esp until after the voting.

I don’t give two beans about Kashoggi. I’m sorry he was cut into pieces (if that’s even true) because no one should have to die that way, but I don’t see what significance he has in regards to this nation. Aren’t all cultures equal and beautiful? That’s what the dims keep saying. Who are we to pass judgment on their morals and values?
It’s certain that Khashoggi didn’t work his way up the Washington Post ladder from the mail room. He was given that job for political reasons, maybe to also to justify US residency for his convenience and activism. I doubt that he punched a clock or had any editorial requirements or deadlines.
[ Jamal Khashoggi Cheered Hamas’ War on Israel ]
I doubt he’s cheering it now.
Mad Mo and Satan deceived him.
It appears this Kashoggi outrage to be merely another organized media stunt in support of globalist agenda.
Kashoggi is/was nothing to consider of any value much less enough value to cause international crisis of any form.
The left is reduced to taking their last stand with nothing to stand for.
Any enemy of America is an ally of the DNC.
Non issue. The dems are grasping at illegal straws.
It’s a crazy story. I won’t excuse any of those beliefs and connections. Though to be fair, I think he was friendly with Bin Laden back when they were fighting the Russians. And I still don’t know if death by dismemberment in an embassy basement is the appropriate punishment - unless I am missing something about his direct involvement in more serious crimes eg terror or murder. As I wrote before, if he was being seditious they could have extradited and tried him for that.
Curiously, he was working in the SA embassy in Washington DC until just a few weeks before 9/11. For those into 9/11 conspiracies it’s a little factoid especially if you add in the suspicion that he was also a CIA agent.
We may never know the whole truth. This could very easily be the Crown Prince overreaching, settling an old score. The stories of how he shook down many of SAs wealthiest people - well it frightened a lot of SAs wealthiest. And in some ways he was justified in that he claimed it was an anti-corruption crusade. You can’t do business in SA without taking on an SA citizen partner and some of the insiders took full advantage of that law and may have avoided paying “full tribute to the king” as it were. Rounding them up in a luxury hotel prison - it skirted western norms usually you have to be charged with a crime but in this case he just rounded them up, allegedly beat them into submission until they paid for their freedom. One of those high ranking Princes Alwaleed Talal who has made a large fortune investing in US technology and enterprise had to fork over about 1/3 of his wealth to buy his freedom.
Anyway the point is we know the Crown Prince MBS is the defacto ruler. And the buck should stop with him. But there have been killings and assassinations within those inner circles in the past. The SA king was assassinated in the mid 1970s. So we may never know if this was MBS overreaching, or some kind of move by anti-MBS forces to put in him a bad light both inside and outside in an attempt to force him out.
It also sounds like a long overdue payback. Someone targeted him, perhaps an old grudge due to his connections from long ago and perhaps exacerbated by his anti-MBS writings. And from the reports, he was worried about this kind of thing (death or rendition) as he supposedly sought assurances that the Embassy in Ankara would be a safe place to pick up his divorce papers.
Someone on VOAT floated the theory that it really WAS the Saudis. But it was from those whom MBS has been trying to purge. The goal is to force MBS out of power.
Lindsey Graham and others screaming for his removal is both bizarre and suspicious at the same time.
I'm confident the President and Pompeo can detect a Deep State move. JMHO...

No wonder the media wants us to got to war over his death. Forget it. I hate the Saudis but Trump should not get sucked into this for the wrong reasons.
Every point you’ve made is absolutely true, and President Trump’s supporters should demand that he cite these facts as to why he will NOT let this jihadist’s assassination adversely influence our country’s foreign policy in the Middle East.
