"'Exclusive House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy Introducing Bill to Fully Fund Border Wall, Making Midterm Immigration Referendum"" House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy will introduce a bill this week that will fully fund President Donald Trumps planned wall along the U.S. border with Mexico, thereby setting the midterm elections up as a referendum on immigration policy, Breitbart News has learned exclusively.
Outgoing Speaker Paul Ryan hinted at a post-election border wall funding fight on Monday.
We intend on having a full-fledged discussion on how to complete our mission to secure the border, and yes, we will have a fight about this, Ryan said of the wall fight that looms at a news conference on Monday.

Trump is teaching the GOP how to street fight.
Reason I am happy Trump won #3,473,089.

Slick move: Putting it up now so Ryan will put it up for a vote to expose the Democrats again just prior to the election.
Gives Ryan’s choice for speaker McCarthy a leg up on the speakership position over jordan.
A win for current speaker Ryan.

#1 issue among voters is immigration. Let the left screech about abolishing ICE and drive the center to us.

We will see who votes against the funding and act accordingly on November 6.
Great move for our side.

Hmm.. I think they are really worried about the house if they are willing to put up a base kiss like this.

More incentive for Trump voters to vote!

McCarthy is trying to sell himself as the new Speaker. His PAC has been running ads for a Republican majority and arguing how he is working to advance the Trump agenda. Jim Jordan is a strong Speaker candidate who has support from conservatives like Louis Gohmert - I chatted up the Congressman from Texas at a Freedom Works rally two weeks ago.

No, more worried about Jim Jorden taking the Speakership

I bet they think it will hurt the GOP during the election. Those two cannot be trusted in the slightest.

And cut off the bennies in the meantime.

Its a carrot on a stick.
Just like the Obamacare repeal was.
But, it really could happen so, vote Republican!

thereby setting the midterm elections up as a referendum on immigration policy
~~~
Here’s a better idea; Submit your bill and get it passed BEFORE the election, instead of dangling the never-reached carrot in front of the voters in hopes they will stay naive forever
Ya reckon this might indicate McCarthy wants Ryan’s job?
Naw, that would be pure politics. Repubs would never so that :)
