With ever increasing use of automated manufacturing processes, one would expect that the % of white collar jobs will increase; but to 1/3?
These white collar workers should have few problems finding new jobs, many of them with higher salaries.

Yeah, cut the salaried workers and keep the administrators. The day will come when they lay off the last person who actually performs any productive activity, and it’ll take them six months to notice the money’s stopped coming in.

Since they are based in Dearborn, cut all the Moslems from the payroll first. Then see how much better the offices will look.
Many companies and most governments are unnecessaryly over managed.
Won’t be successful unless they change how they do business and revamp their internal regulation/reporting practices.
