Charles Ludington, Lynne Brookes and Elizabeth Swisher attended Yale University from 1983 to 1987 with Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh.
We were college classmates and drinking buddies with Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh. In the past week, all three of us decided separately to respond to questions from the media regarding Bretts honesty, or lack thereof. In each of our cases, it was his public statements during a Fox News TV interview and his sworn testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee that prompted us to speak out.
We each asserted that Brett lied to the Senate by stating, under oath, that he never drank to the point of forgetting what he was doing. We said, unequivocally, that each of us, on numerous occasions, had seen Brett stumbling drunk to the point that it would be impossible for him to state with any degree of certainty that he remembered everything that he did when drunk.
Since coming forward, we each have received numerous angry messages accusing us of attempting to ruin a mans life because of his drunken antics as a college student. In fact, none of us condemned Brett for his frequent drunkenness. We drank too much in college as well. It is true that Brett acknowledged he sometimes drank too many beers. But he also stated that he never drank to the point of blacking out.
All of us went to Yale, whose motto is Lux et Veritas (Light and Truth). Brett also belonged to a Yale senior secret society called Truth and Courage. We believe that Brett neither tells the former nor embodies the latter. For this reason, we believe that Brett Kavanaugh should not sit on the nations highest court.

Perhaps Fineswine was greatly disappointed this wasnt in the FBI report?
She cant come out and say it specifically because shes not supposed to know about it. That would tip all off to her deception.
I predict tomorrow she will bring up all these newspaper stories that the FBI missed.
Surprise, surprise, surprise, we are getting tired of all the surprises!
Unsubstantiated rumors and lies. Its all that have left. And all they ever had.
Kavanaugh may have also lifted beer sales this week.
Also, I have never seen a drunk in the Marines or State Department (both filled with drunks) get better with alcohol. Usually a person spirals, affecting work, family, relationships, etc.
Judge Kavanaugh progressively became a sharper man as his peers indicate.
Yes Don, that is true. This is the longest impact a president can have.
Kavanaugh may remain on the court thirty or more years. Beyond that it’s the reality that his record of decisions will live on even beyond him.
He is going to be contributing to settled law for a long long time.
Courts decades after his demise, will still be adhering to decisions he participated in.
It’s not unrealistic to talk about Trump and his justices as having impacted this nation for a century or longer.
This is the dreaded reality the Leftists face.
Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...
I really feel sorry for them. /s
Drinking buddies at college, and they were not interviewed by FBI in the first six backgrounds?
DK
and for them to know he was that drunk... they were right there with them... where do they work?
Jerks.
They are just jelous.
Graduated #1 in his class. Not bad for a sloppy drunk.
Indeed he did.
Just Amazing how the formerly “Sex, Drugs and Rock ‘n’ Roll! Yeah!” libs have somehow morphed into a bunch of torch-burning Quakers crusading against beer drinking.
Conclusion: Many Yale law students are backstabbing scumbags. I think we already knew that.
I hear ya but I’ve been with him all the way. It’s now or never IMO.
Note they speak in the past tense, what interaction with him have they had the last almost thirty years? And what pray tell are their political leanings now? My God, how many young men and women drank to excess during their college years? Shall we condemn them all now? If he was such a proliferate drinker and in a state of inebriation while in college, how did he complete his studies at the level he achieved, how in the world did he pass the Bar and work with the people he did?
This load reeks more than Bandini Mountain.
They’re hoping that there’s a score with Ford in the future.
Pathetic.
They sound like a bunch of drunks projecting their leftwing bullish*t.
