Let’s assume Kavanaugh does not make it and is voted down, Trump should then immediately fire Sessions and appoint Kavanaugh as the NEW Attorney General. “Revenge is mine sayeth the Lord”, and Trump.

We are going to have a vote on Kavanaugh. Red state Dems will be required to show their hand and face the consequences. Dems think EVERYBODY is stupid. . . especially folks that vote for Dems. I cannot think of a group as a whole more morally bankrupt than the Dems.

No, it may sound good but if he’s voted down he’s toast. We can have it both ways. Vote him in and make red state rats pay for their no votes and don’t let them get away with holding out until they know it’s a done deal then voting yes. That said it will come down to the rino sisters who both want to vote no but they also know only one of them has to because Flake is almost a certain no.
So they may figure out which one is hurt the least by a no vote and kill the nomination. I think this is a highly likely outcome IMHO.
And they think the American people will think it’s okay?
