The Politics of Destruction: [] The Democratic strategy of character assassination.
Wall Street Journal ^ | September 24, 2018

...

There is a phrase for what is happening here: character assassination. Judge Kavanaugh’s good name is being smeared with sexual allegations on the eve of a Supreme Court confirmation vote in a campaign abetted if not orchestrated by Democrats.

Dianne Feinstein, the ranking Democrat on the Judiciary Committee, withheld Ms. Ford’s letter from her colleagues for six weeks until she sprung it at the last minute. She has since been demanding a fair and public hearing for Ms. Ford. But on Sunday she leapt on Ms. Ramirez’s claim to demand an “immediate postponement” in the hearing now scheduled for Thursday.

Fair? What about fairness for Mr. Kavanaugh, who since Ms. Ford’s accusation has offered to testify under oath that none of this happened? Instead he has had to hear himself denounced day after day as a sexual predator as Democrats and Ms. Ford’s lawyers try to dictate how a Senate committee should conduct its fact-finding.

The obvious strategy is to delay the hearing, and Mr. Kavanaugh’s chance to be heard and get a vote, for as long as possible. Who knows which other long-ago classmates might next rummage through their memories to recall what Mr. Kavanaugh might have done that no one else can remember?

The latest Democratic demand is that Chairman Chuck Grassley call as a witness Mark Judge, who Ms. Ford claims was present when Mr. Kavanaugh allegedly assaulted her. Mr. Judge has already told congressional staff—lying to staff is a crime—that he knows nothing about the episode. But Democrats want Mr. Judge on the public stage so they can use his admitted history of drinking to smear Mr. Kavanaugh by association.

Judge Kavanaugh said firmly on Monday in a letter to Senators Grassley and Feinstein that “I will not be intimidated into withdrawing from this process.”

Ol’Chuck can be as tough as Collins, Flake, Corker, etc. will allow. The Senate is 51-49. Chuck can’t tough his way out of the math.

Although it is not an armed one yet, we have been in a civil war for quite some time. We on the political Right have never truly engaged while our enemy, Marxists/Communists (aka Socialists, liberals, the Left, etc.), has been brutally fighting on all fronts. Even occasionally with violence. We on the Right tend to win a victory here and there, then become complacent for long stretches. The Left is never complacent. They push and push and push some more on multiple fronts. The only reason this has not become a hot war is because they keep winning most of their skirmishes.

Let me get this right. Senator Feinstein believes the confirmation of Judge Kavanaugh would be a grave danger to the welfare of our nation. As a ranking member of the Senate committee charged with vetting that nomination, she came into possession of information she sincerely believes would warrant withholding approval, yet she was prepared to withhold that information to protect the privacy of one individual.

Privacy for one person overrides protecting the nation from grave danger. Hopefully no person desiring privacy ever confides in the good Senator about a pending armed attack on someplace like maybe a couple of office buildings in New York. See something, say something, unless it is politically advantageous to say nothing.

Grassley screwed up bigtime.....played for a sucker by the power-starved Democrats......and it appears he was completely oblivious to it all.

Grassley’s pussy-footing around Ford gave the Democrats traction and time to advance their plots.

Like their humble servant, Grassley laid the power of the Senate at the feet of Democrats.......

They were sitting in the driver’s seat forging ahead as Grassley hummed Kumbaya in the rumble seat

ACTION NOW-—DC got overloaded. Call the farm boy’s Iowa office.....they are apparently taking messages.

“The Wall Street Journal writes good stuff and then hides it behind a pay wall. So stupid.”

Bingo! They are still stuck in the past when everyone had to buy a magazine to read the contents.

In today’s world the magazine is free and the publisher gets paid based on how many read the contents. The thing is, the magazines always were full of ads, but now they don’t have to pay for those ads until someone reads them.

If nobody sees the magazine or the ads in it you just as well toss it in the trash when it comes off the press.

There is also a Biblical commandment about not bearing false witness.

There is also a Biblical account of a woman falsely accusing a Godly man of rape, and sending him to prison because of her lies.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Potiphar_and_his_wife

The "Women Never Lie About Rape!" mantra is itself a lie.

Judge Kavanaugh is the Epitome of Goodness. Only PURE EVIL would attack him the way the LEFT is attacking him.

“Ol’Chuck can be as tough as Collins, Flake, Corker, etc. will allow. The Senate is 51-49. Chuck can’t tough his way out of the math.”

He had to let it play out this way. In the end, the Republican/Independent voter is madder than hell. So if this can pass a committee vote on Thursday or Friday, the turtle has stated it will be put to the floor for a vote without delay. If Kavanugh isn’t seated, Trump won’t get another chance to drain the swamp. Voters will walk away.

It’s a battle for strict construction vs. the end of the Constitution. This has become bigger than the abortion decision, for me, as an Independent. We’ve been hanging on by our nails sliding into the abyss. Trump is buying us time.

...but that doesn't matter to these DEMONcrats serving their "Father the DEVIL"!! They are bound for eternal judgment in hell.
