It has been 17 years since the Islamic jihadists conducted their terrorist attack on America, 11 September, 2001, killing almost 3,000 innocent Americans who were doing nothing more than going to work. What was the ideology that drove these Islamic jihadists to carry out such atrocious acts? Our political and military leadership who have been thoroughly indoctrinated in “political correctness” still remain incapable of identifying the ideology and the enemy. Clearly, the plague of jihadi terrorism has its roots in Islam. However, due to our former president’s obfuscation of the scriptures of Islam found in the Quran and Shariah law, which drive jihadi terrorism, he has facilitated the spread of Islam and its supremacists’ ideology.
Continuing the use of terms like “countering violent extremism and work place violence,” is nothing more than perpetuating the Obama administration’s propaganda, which only confuses the American public’s understanding of the true nature of the threat. The jihadists have been thoroughly indoctrinated in the core canonical beliefs of Islam as written in the Suras (chapters) of the Quran, which drives their violence. It certainly is not for a lack of a job or educational opportunities, which is part of the progressives’ nonsense propaganda. Further, using the term “radical Islam” to describe jihadi terrorism implies that there is some “moderate” form of Islam. Regrettably, that is not the case, nor have the jihadists hijacked Islam.

So-called moderates in Islam are considered apostate by true Islamists, as deserving of death as we Infidels.
Too much to respond in a single post. Two major points 1) Lack of critical leadership by GW Bush. Bush, who’s family became wealthy dealing with the 9/11 Saudis in the “oil business” did nothing to hold the Saudi government, which was well aware of the Wahhabi motivated plot, and babbled instead about a “religion of peace”. There was no righteous anger or response.2) Over the last fifty years the American population has been demasculinized. The perverse hedonistic popular, anti Christian culture and perverse liberalism the major reasons. It made the general population very susceptible to the Stockholm syndrome and hence the bizarre sympathy for Muslims and the vulnerability to ongoing attacks.
That sounds very much like the American moonbat Left and their drive to destroy the US and subjugate all who oppose them.

The current Democrat Freakshow Riot ought to wake up every American to reality, but obviously half the country is psychotic.
One might hope instead for a serious cultural shift that results in radical Mohammedanists being forcibly ejected from the United States as inherently unable to live in peace with Western values. This sort of cultural shift won't happen by itself, though, and I'm not certain what might bring it about. Perhaps the dying polities of Britain and France, succumbing slowly but surely as they are to outright dhimmitude, will eventually provide the trigger. The spectacle of a British or French non-Mohammedanist being publicly lashed into a bloody ruin with a whip for having sex outside of marriage might serve at last to alarm a large number of Americans into recognizing the clear and present danger of radical Mohammedanism.

If anything, a broad reading of history strongly suggest that America will NOT react and take action until a comprehensive and existential threat has manifest -— with many thousands of dead. If we’re THAT lucky.

IF we’re lucky, the situation will still be (barely) save-able at that moment. But by the time we wake up as a nation, it could easily be too late.

I am just asking, not confronting you. I’ve read a couple of times that the Saudi government played no part in the attacks.
