Too much to respond in a single post. Two major points 1) Lack of critical leadership by GW Bush. Bush, who’s family became wealthy dealing with the 9/11 Saudis in the “oil business” did nothing to hold the Saudi government, which was well aware of the Wahhabi motivated plot, and babbled instead about a “religion of peace”. There was no righteous anger or response.2) Over the last fifty years the American population has been demasculinized. The perverse hedonistic popular, anti Christian culture and perverse liberalism the major reasons. It made the general population very susceptible to the Stockholm syndrome and hence the bizarre sympathy for Muslims and the vulnerability to ongoing attacks.

The current Democrat Freakshow Riot ought to wake up every American to reality, but obviously half the country is psychotic.
One might hope instead for a serious cultural shift that results in radical Mohammedanists being forcibly ejected from the United States as inherently unable to live in peace with Western values. This sort of cultural shift won't happen by itself, though, and I'm not certain what might bring it about. Perhaps the dying polities of Britain and France, succumbing slowly but surely as they are to outright dhimmitude, will eventually provide the trigger. The spectacle of a British or French non-Mohammedanist being publicly lashed into a bloody ruin with a whip for having sex outside of marriage might serve at last to alarm a large number of Americans into recognizing the clear and present danger of radical Mohammedanism.

Nope. It’s hopeless and we’re self-blinded into inaction, just like the moment when Chamberlain waved his litte signed paper in the air at the airport.
IF we’re lucky, the situation will still be (barely) save-able at that moment. But by the time we wake up as a nation, it could easily be too late.

Once Bush went all “religion of peace”, the 9/11 Commission white washed the event and politicians and lawyers started handling the war, America lost and will continue to lose. BTW, the idea of a “moderate Muslim” is a myth. We are 17 years in post 9/11 with not much to show for it.
Moderates are fence-sitting thumb suckers.
They won’t wake up until the gun is aimed at the back of their heads, and by then it’ll be too late.
I think it’s already too late for America based on the evil that is oozing out of it daily.
I would suggest returning God to His rightful place in our nation, which was established upon His Word. It doesn’t bode well for the nation that forgets God.

Sorry, But secular Leftists are FAR more dangerous to the existence of this Republic than any Muslim ever thought of being. At least least the vast majority of Muslims live somewhere else, Leftists control virtually all the major pop-centers of the U.S.
Actually, the Sept 11 attack was the **second** successful attack on the World Trade Center.
For some reason, nobody seems to remember the World Trade Center bombing in 1993. Also clearly carried out by Muslims - The attack was planned by a group of terrorists including Ramzi Yousef, Mahmud Abouhalima, Mohammad Salameh, Nidal A. Ayyad, Abdul Rahman Yasin, and Ahmed Ajaj. They received financing from Khalid Sheikh Mohammed.
We didn’t lean then, we stall haven’t learned from Sept 11 and I’m waiting for the next mass attack by this so-called “religion of peace”
