China is not threatened by Russia. No one is threatened by Russia. Russia has 120 million people and an economy the size of Spain’s. They can be disruptive and devious when it suits their purpose but they cannot carry out any grand schemes of conquest and world domination.
China on the other hand has 1.3 billion people and the worlds largest economy.
Yes they are sanctions against N Korea which were proposed by us TO the UN. The UN then drew up a resolution(s) which was then approved by the Security Council and implemented.

UN sanctions whether put in place or refunded by resolution must have the unanimous vote of the Security Council.

That’s a family squabble. Ukraine had a chance to arm themselves and build a credible deterrent to Russian aggression but they allowed their pols to disarm and loot their country instead. Then they decided the west should spend its blood and treasure rescue them.
