President Donald Trump wrote a letter to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un saying that their planned summit next month in Singapore was cancelled.
The meeting, which would have marked the first face-to-face encounter between a sitting U.S. president and a North Korean leader, was set for June 12 in the southeastern Asian island city state.
"Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting," Trump wrote in the letter, which was released Thursday morning.

You really screwed the pooch by attacking Mike Pence. I’m pulling out of the meeting as a sign of respect to him, and to show you that you aren’t dealing with that pussy, Obama.
By the way, you missed an opportunity to receive a big bribe and to have your power guaranteed against outside threat, but you blew it.
If you take your meds and regain some degree of mental balance, we can meet in the future. But until then, we still have 3 carrier battle groups surrounding your shithole country, plus a bunch of nuclear-armed bombers that even the Russians and Chinese can’t shoot down, let alone your little pop-guns.
