because rejection does wonders for society
Rejection is part of life. When was it ever not part of life?
I remember in the 9th grade muttering every ounce of courage I had to go ask a girl to the school dance only to get turned down flat. Today, I don't even remember her name.
Life is rough. Sometimes it hurts. Grow up. Get over it.
“If she didnt like you, the date would have been crap anyways.”
Her feelings were not relevant to him. She could have been in absolute misery and he would not have noticed.
Good post! All true.
The "everybody gets a trophy" culture meets the "I spend so much time on social media that I can't engage in face-to-face interaction" culture meets the "everything I know about women I've learned watching internet porn" culture.
The are no excuses for what that person did,
There are a ton of reasons. If people are willing to look at the ugliness of ALL aspects of these shooting, we might be able to prevent others in the future.
Parents, teachers, administrators, and students would rather march against assault rifles. Before they are torn to pieces by a 12 gauge shotgun.
Huh? The mother of a girl that got killed is who is telling what happened. The killer’s mother said nothing in this article.
If she didn’t want to attract males, why did she wiggle her ass?
It makes me wonder how many other killers were as selfish in their motives? Sounds like the mind of a serial killer or whatnot.
...
Serial killers tend to be sexual deviants. Mass murderers seem to be more suicidal and depressed.
If only......
Where did you hear that? The only thing I’ve seen from the kid’s parents is the father saying how sorry he was this happened.
This is the logical next step for those who have listened to the idea that suicides are the fault of bullies...
No. They are not.
If you commit violence on yourself or others... thats on you.
Any other scenario is unhealthy.
I think I read the article here earlier this morning.
The mother was saying that the teen girl he was
interested in rebuffed his advances for months
and that she embarrassed him in front of a class.
It also explains why kids seem to like awful movies where the hero cannot lose much nowadays as well.
I was a social misfit in high school. I was bullied, kept to myself, and joined no athletics or clubs. However, the thought of getting some kind of apocalyptic revenge never entered my mind. I hated high school, but I endured it, got through it and later became fairly successful in life with a good job and family. This kind of psychotic behavior is not always inevitable for this personality type.
Mean girl meets Mossberg, and other stories told from the cool kids table.
The kid was a self-described atheist. That is the source of his problems.
That logic is poison.
If one gets rejected... learn and move on.
Bet he’s not an atheist now. /oops too late
“Yeah, he should’ve just accepted the rejection and social humiliation, gotten depressed, and wound up on the street doing drugs because rejection does wonders for society”
Wow. I don’t know what idiotic place you live, but the only options for rejection isn’t turn to either violence or living on the street.
