Victim Shana Fishers mother, Sadie Rodriguez, told the Los Angeles Times in a Facebook private message that her daughter had 4 months of problems from this boy.
He kept making advances on her and she repeatedly told him no, she wrote.
As Pagourtzis persisted and got more aggressive in his advances, Fishers mother said her daughter finally stood up to him and embarrassed him in class, according to the Times.

Rodriguez didnt tell the Times how she knew her daughter was shot first.

It makes me wonder how many other killers were as selfish in their motives? Sounds like the mind of a serial killer or whatnot. If she didn’t like you, the date would have been crap anyways. Getting turned down is a good thing.
The mother of the murderer is blaming the young girl.
So should those kids who harassed me in
School be at fault if I took the conscious decision to take my parents kitchen knife to school and attack them, possibly kill them with it? The guy was a stalker who needed to be kept away. The mother is justifying abuse.
So now his story of rejection is all over the news all over the world. That will give countless other rejects the idea that it’s a good idea to do what this guy did.
How about this. No picture. No manifesto. No repeat of facebook posts. Instead, oblivion for the mass killers.
the father of the mass murderer is blaming the school
Where did you get that info?
>>>The mother of the murderer is blaming the young girl<<<
What are you talking about? The Mother of the Girl who was murdered by that POS is the one quoted in the article.
Repulsive, angry malcontents who can’t handle rejection.
Well, as stated earlier on this same subject, the old “Everybody gets a trophy” ain’t workin’ out so awesome. Kids don’t learn how to deal with loss or rejection.
Unless that story can be corroborated by an eye witness, it is not credible. Sounds conjectural.
This mother may well be using her daughters’ death to further the political narrative that ‘all males are predators’; ‘rapists in the waiting’.
Cindy Sheehan shamefully used her son’s death for political purposes as well.

Without free publicity, terrorism shrivels up and dies a quiet death.
It is worse than that. The entire underpinning of leftist identity group politics is that groups of people are victims, and their difficulties come from the oppression of others. And the others are typically white males.
So when fewer women choose some line of work it is the result of discrimination by men. And if police stop some other group of people more frequently, it must be because of bias or racism. And if the baker disapproves of your lifestyle, and won't bake you a cake then it is their problem and they get punished, and people with similar opinions are characterized as evil.
That flawed logic gets taught to everyone, including young men who may themselves be not as successful as they want to be in life. While their group is not allowed to be "victims" in the leftist scheme, the young men do adopt the leftist pattern of thinking. So when they don't get what they want, it must be somebody else's fault, somebody that is discriminating against them. They, and everyone else who accepts the victimized group logic from the left looks outward to blame others for their failure, instead of either working harder to improve themselves, or just accepting that the world is an unfair place.
Tragically, when the most unbalanced of those young men lash out at their "oppressors" they are just acting out the logic of the left. Just like the baker who didn't want to bake a cake for a particular customer, the poor girl in Texas didn't want to socialize with a particular young man. There is obviously no justification for violence in any such situation, and the blame must be on the killer, not his victims, but the leftists teaching young people that they are all part of victimized groups, except of course for young heterosexual white men, should not be surprised when that group also assumes their failures in life result from other groups or individuals acting against them, and preventing them from getting what they think they are entitled to.
The ideas of the left are uniformly bad for society, and sadly I think we are seeing yet another example of that.
Would this be derived from the everybody gets a trophy culture?
I posted this on another thread; fits here too:
If you read the family background, they were religious and active in their church, as were their kids. Both the mother and father appear to have backed a MAGA philosophy of supporting the NRA (the father) and the wife making religious posts on FB as well as a MAGA comment. The father posted family pics of him hugging his kids. In other words a pretty typical family.
The boy took a bad turn somewhere along the line, possibly because of bullying, possibly because of extremely immature proclivities, shyness, fragile ego, whatever, and it appears he got into the dark side of todays cultural life that chooses mass shootings as a means of coping with their mental fantasies and problems. I think the kid starting obsessing over his personal problems that he kept to himself, and started plotting his revenge for said slights by becoming even more obsessive and fixated on a deadly cure. I dont see how this could have easily been picked up on by most anyone, because his behavior just didnt manifest itself obviously to others.
We as a society cant possibly account for the actions of every oddballs actions within a country with a population of approximately 250 million, give or take a few million, plus people. What we can do is better fortify and protect our schools, institute checks at entryways, stop building more mega schools that are easy targets with too many entryways, have anonymous hotlines (both phone and email) for students to report repeated bizarre or abnormal behavior on the part of their fellow students, etc.
This last method would have to be carefully monitored and reviewed though, so that it isnt used as a way for students with axes of their own to grind to report a fellow student for alleged bizarre behavior. Careful followup by counselors and discreet probing would need to be in order, but it would give students a means to throw out red flags about problem students who are too much the loner, who withdraw from normal activities they once pursued, who consistently bully others, etc. so that these warning signs can be addressed before they blossom into full blown anti-social incidents.
There are no easy cures here, and always blaming parents for their childs behavior isnt necessarily the answer either. Many times it is, sometimes it isnt. Or saying these people shouldnt have been let into this country when in this case the father legally migrated here some years ago, had a church going family, and a middle class industrious life, and appears to have been supporting political viewpoints similar to our own here on FR. The parents unfortunately ended up with a screwed up kid who kept his problems to himself. Who amongst us would have picked up on this kids internal angst ourselves? I ask you.
We should address how best to protect our kids with practical solutions of how to fortify and guard our schools, as with such a large country, we cant stop all isolated attacks by defective fellow humans. It will never happen. And we can reintroduce religion back into our school systems, and teach codes of conduct and morality to the children, as it was for so many years before the socialist progressives took over control of too many of our countrys key institutions, namely the mass media, our courts, and our educational system. They are rotting out our country from within.
Therein lies many of our problems. Evil or misguided and misled socialist elites polluting under-educated masses they seek to lead through lies, misinformation, the sins of omission, nihilist viewpoints, and other nefarious means.
I might add, the over-feminizing of our society and the and the constant demasculization of our young men who are treated as disposable objects merely to be used as fertilizer for the new globalist state with no individual say so in how our families will be raised. We have some deep seated problems here folks, very deep seated.
Finally, I must say that conservatives must get much more involved (as do so many Freepers) in fighting back against the constant and insidious progressive inroads. The problem is most conservatives are busy working, while the progressive elites finance the welfare state they have created, where so many able bodied people dont work or filch off the government coffers, and thus are available with all their spare time to hold constant demonstrations and marches, and protests galore.
Meanwhile we sucker conservatives work and help support these activities, because we are by nature doers, not takers. Conservatives pull the wagon; liberals are in it.
We need to infiltrate the progressives bastions of power. We need to elect more conservative politicians, produce more conservative teachers and professors, elect and appoint more judges (Trump making great inroads here) and increase our political reach through the media by starting up conservative cable TV stations, both local and national (Sinclair station is now doing this on a national level, thank goodness) and by any other means necessary to get our viewpoints out there. We need more than just one half of a station (Fox News) with all the other alphabet stations and cable news stations being liberal 24/7.
If we cannot get our viewpoints out there, and teach our youth conservative values, we are in serious trouble as a nation. Its up to us to fight the progressives back tooth and tong, and stop being such polite wusses. We must fight as dirty as necessary, as they sure will. We are bringing a knife to a gun fight, and this must stop.
As must I, having babbled on here for far too long, lol. Had a cumulative lot on my mind. Forgive the length.
That’s not the definite alternative. There’s zero excuse for planned, premeditated murder. Trust me I got my share of shame, I even punched someone for harassing me at school back in the day and got in trouble for it. But all that they did was no excuse for me to commit murder, or harass some girl.
So they "grow-up" (sort-of) with no coping skills. No way to handle a loss, no "tough love" from parents, coaches, teachers. Nope, the little ones are coddled from the get go. So all of a sudden, when they get a hard "no" that isn't going to change, isn't going to go their way, they have no frame of reference, no tools, no experience, nada. It is not hard to see how some could spin off into thinking this is the end of their world, or at least a life changing event...
My generation got told no. We got told we lost. We got told we had to do better. You know what? We learned to deal with it. We learned to move on, or to practice more/harder and improve. We learned it's not the end of the world. Kids these days don't hear that, don't get that. So yeah, a small percentage of them get to a point where they snap - because they haven't learned all the small lessons along the way.
When I was a teenager, we had ready access to firearms. There were rifle marksmanship classes in school. There were deer hunting rifles in trucks in the parking lot. We got embarrassed in school. We got rejected at dances, or for dates. We got broken up with. We got dinged for a couple of beers under age. We got disciplined by parents, teachers, coaches, and local police. We coped, we moved on. We didn't come back and shoot up the school, or a movie theater.
When we deny our kids the experiences to build on to deal with these kinds of situations, is it any wonder they cannot handle them when they occur? Because disappointment and rejection are going to happen. Sure, not every kid that gets rejected snaps, but some apparently do to one extent or another. We're not protecting our kids by coddling them, we're doing grave damage to them. "Safe spaces" are anything but - they are the exact opposite of the real world. The real world isn't a safe space, kids better know how to handle themselves or it is going to be very bad for them, and occasionally very bad for the rest of us.
