Remains to be seen what this weekends weather does to ALL crops in the country. Canadian Wheat has already taken a beating which will lead to the lowest yield yet. A drop of 1 degree cent will result in the Canadian production drop of some 50 to 60% Still think there is Gorebull warming?

Will this cause the price per bu to go up or down? Good time to buy WEAT for hold until April next year (long)?

Yup, anyone who has some cash might want to look at the futures.
The down side is, you might want to pay attention because global food shortages will most likely lead to world war.

Let me know when there’s a hop crop failure. Micro brews might become drinkable then.

BTW. The neighbors down the street who live in CA say the sweet corn is in the worst condition in CA they have ever seen. He is retired and turned his farm over to his son to run.

Yes. Mr. Valentine has set the price.
To: crz
There is less than $0.05 of wheat in a loaf of bread.
We would have to go to $50 a bushel to really justify a significant price increase of bread

Flashback to when my mother used to say, “When I was a kid bread was a nickle a loaf”.

Well you can always drink horse piss. Since that is what most of that crap brewed these days is.

In central TX the local farmers cut the wheat for silage when it failed to head out. Have not seen that in a long time.
