Remains to be seen what this weekends weather does to ALL crops in the country. Canadian Wheat has already taken a beating which will lead to the lowest yield yet. A drop of 1 degree cent will result in the Canadian production drop of some 50 to 60% Still think there is Gorebull warming?

Will this cause the price per bu to go up or down? Good time to buy WEAT for hold until April next year (long)?

Let me know when there’s a hop crop failure. Micro brews might become drinkable then.

It is currently 70 degrees in SE Michigan. On Saturday night the U.P. is supposed to get 18 inches of snow. Fortunately the local farmers have delayed putting their crops in due to unseasonably cold weather. The fruit trees have yet to bud, so we might be okay.

Lower harvest and higher prices for the 70% of acres not doing poorly.

This is from a few weeks ago: https://www.agweb.com/article/russias-blizzard-is-a-blessing-for-wheat-fields-blmg/

Russia was the world’s largest exporter of wheat last season.

With only 30 million acres that is down about 20 M to begin with and then with a lower average yield that is going to make a huge difference.
