>>This is an orchestrated foreign invasion and should be treated as such.<<
Exactly right, and President Trump needs to declare it as such and send armored divisions along the entire southern border with instructions to prevent ANYONE from crossing the border for any reason whatsoever. And he needs to STOP looking over his shoulder to see if the RATs, RINOs, and Courts are applauding or bitching about it. JUST DO IT MR. PRESIDENT!
>>Idiotic. Why does anyone need to be processed? They need to be repelled and stopped. Anyone caught crossing should be unceremoniously dumped right back over.
No arrest... no processing.<<
You have it exactly right, and the President needs to immediately do his duty to protect our country regardless of what the RATs, RINOs, and Courts have to say about it. We CANNOT protect our country by waiting for the dithering idiots in Congress and the Courts to bitch and moan about it. That’s why we have a President who is also the Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the country. SHUT DOWN THAT BORDER MR. PRESIDENT.
>>Lets see how long it will take before the Democrats find THEIR judges and make the courts declare this move to secure our borders unconstitutional and give the ILLEGALS constitutional rights to have their claims for asylum heard in our courts!!<<
This is as good an opportunity as any for President Trump to trigger a constitutional crisis so we the people can confirm just exactly who in the government is conspiring to bring down our Constitutional Republic in the international quest for a globalist tyranny.
>>They can go to the American embassy in Mexico and apply there.<<
If we had a pro-American Congress instead of an anti-American Congress a law would have already been passed to clarify that it is illegal for anyone in the world to seek asylum in the U.S. within a country that has its own laws regarding asylum.
>>In other words, the deployment will be a joke, soldiers doing cleaning, getting coffee, watching, smiling and waving at illegal aliens. Bad move. Put the troops on the border and let them defend the border. No one crosses it unless at a point and through screening by Border Patrol. The military should be told to use whatever force necessary to ensure no one crosses where they are assigned. And to respond with deadly force if attacked, even if by rocks.<<
Perfectly stated and every word of it.
“If we had a pro-American Congress instead of an anti-American Congress ...”
_____
Unfortunately, that seems to be the problem. When Obama issued Executive Orders disregarding immigration law, he had no obstacles thrown in his path because both parties (with some exceptions) benefit by the cheap labor and future Democrat voters. No one cares that the rest of us carry the financial burden and are victims of imported crime.
None should enter except at proper border crossings.
>>This is to allow millions of socialist immigrants legal and illegal to move into the USA. The democrat goal is a socialist USA.<<
You have that exactly right, and I overheard a guy the other day say that patriots everywhere are preparing to move on Washington to shut it down until the cowards in Congress order the southern border completely sealed.
>>Maybe some of us need to be a little more sophisticated and stop calling for shooting people, invading Mexico, etc.<<
Right. We need to become more sophisticated. Perhaps we should emulate the “sophistication” of the Kenyan imposter and his Ozark skank while they were taking care of that business in Benghazi.
>>There is a a law that prevents the military from making arrests within the border of the US. Change the law to protect our border!<<
Arrests do not have to be made. The military should be ordered to order ANYONE who steps across the border to immediately turn around and get back over the border. And those who defy that order should be physically returned to the Mexican side.
>>Its a Uniparty bipartisan goal.<<
Yes, and those in Congress who obstruct President Trump’s orders to stop the invasion should be indicted for treason.
>>They can go to the American embassy in Mexico and apply there.
Bingo! 5 star thinking.<<
Not a good idea. Anyone who wishes to make application for asylum must be made to apply to the government of the FIRST country that admits them on its soil.
What companies, battalion, brigade’s designations/compositions?

That would seem to be a better idea but would appear contrary to existing US statues and require action by Congress, which could well be impractical. OTOH, simply directing applicants to the embassy would be a matter of policy.
Further, the US has no control over how the "FIRST country" would respond to such a requirement. Bearing in mind Mexico is a facilitator in this matter with an agenda, it is easy to predict it would simply hand applicants a flyer that says your request will take many months to process - or any number of similar measures.

I am all for it, but does that ever happen? I just figured it is better for them to go to the American embassy in Mexico rather than cross the border and immediately come aboard our benefits train. In fact, shouldn’t they apply at our American embassy in the Honduras? But if we can get Mexico to take their asylum applications, so much the better. If you have any influence in the government and can effect this, you will be our hero.
I did a stint in New Mexico with the National Guard (I was in the NJARNG) shortly after 9/11 to do recon and surveillance for the Border Patrol. We were a Scout unit and helped nab many dozens of border crossers. It was actually a fun deployment. Afghanistan and Iraq soon after were not.
Thank you for your service. Glad you made it back safe & sound.
Contrary to FFJ's ("Not a good idea.") rejection, I continue to agree with you that entry applicants should appear at the embassy in Mexico.
You now raise another interesting point, however, and that is whether applicants should appear at the US embassy in their native countries. That may be too much to hope for, as by definition if they are seeking asylum they should be in the process of fleeing.
With regard to encouraging Mexico to accept asylum applications (or even to enforce their borders in full) rather than to shift the problem to the US, perhaps the cessation of any aid or other benefits should be on the table.
It seems prudent to think that until we get tough Mexico will continue its childish mischief.

Never give up or get rid of your guns. If you don’t have guns, get some.
