Now they have another reason to protest. short video at link.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

And frankly both houses are poxed. Public service unions are largely to blame for police incidents being under deep shadow and intrigue rather than sunlight — so that even when a court renders a decision all eyes are jaundiced.
I wouldn’t call that being run over, bumped would be a better deffinition. Simple fact, emergency vehicles have the right of way when lights and sirens are on no matter the situation. Blue Lives Matter.
Just so people know- the national Lawyer's Guild had a famous member- a gal named Lynne Stewart.
Lynne Stewart was one of the lawyers attending the Blind Sheikh Abdurahman / Abdul Rahman, who was one of the coconspirators in the first world trade center bombing in 1993...and in the NY Landmarks plot.
The blind sheikh called Lynne his "Secret Dove" and used her to send messages to his terrorist group in Egypt. One of the messages she helped deliver was an order to end a cease fire. After this, his group carried out a horrific grisly terrorist attack on tourists and Egyptians at Luxor.
My wife was slightly fascinated with the coverage and was watching the incident live through the Sacramento Bee. Protesters slowly moved out from in front of the two emergency vehicles, clearing a path for both vehicles, and as the second one moved to follow the first, the idiot walked out in front of the vehicle.
No rational person would have stopped at that moment, and it appeared the officers were responding to a call. Still unclear why the gal was carrying a laptop as well; I generally don’t protest while holding onto portable computer equipment of that size...
They didn’t stop because you are stupid enough to walk in front of a moving vehicle that outweighs you by thousands of pounds and you belong to a collective of overwrought nuts who likely would have mobbed the officer had he rendered aid.
You may qualify for a Darwin Award.
Death Race 2018. Bonus points.
Ignore the flashing emergency lights and the warnings from a loudspeaker, and then ask me if I care what happens to you.
National Lawyers Guild attorney? Color him “red” since the NLG was created by the Soviets/CPUSA in the late 1930’s from the old Soviet front, International Red Aid.
The Guild eventually became led by a newer generation of communists/Marxists/Castroites etc as the older CPUSA Guild leaders died off. The newer ones from Ratner to Cohen to Mirer etc. were just as radical and more likely to belong to CPUSA fronts such as COC, NECLC and the NLG-creation, the Center for Constitutional Rights (CCR), as they were to the new “Marxist kid on the block”, the “Democratic Socialists of America” (DSA). Sometimes they belonged to several such Marxist organizations at the same time, but the NLG was their common denominator.
Look them up at www.DiscoverTheNetwork.org and www.keywiki.org for more details and names.
The area was probably swarmed by protesters and would have made it 1 cop vs 100 angry black people.
I’m not stopping for nothing just so I can be beat to death by a mob.
I have no sympathy for the woman since it seems she is largely the blame for her being struck by the car in that situation, but i’m sure she will be compensated as a victim instead of ticketed for disobeying police officer orders, obstructing a police vehicle with flashing lights or other possible reasons of ticketing.

Hey Guy Danilowitz..........look at my thumb.....
“National Lawyers Guild” = another community organizing commie outfit.
They should mount Claymores all around emergency vehicles with a console for the driver to blow them as necessary. Like most animals, the Hutu and Tutsi will soon learn not to block the roadway....
Note to self, you have got to get one of thos Ranchhand bumpers. Still waiting for the protests for all the murders in Chicago......
This is getting even better.
If the cop had stopped, he would’ve been surrounded and pummeled to death by the out of control mob.
Backup would’ve arrived too late.
The cop would likely have been pulled from the vehicle and beaten to death had he/she stopped. And then there is the lesson about looking both ways before crossing the street or jumping in front of a moving vehicle.......
