It is a huge mistake to think special elections do not concern you or are unimportant. Every race Republicans lose emboldens leftists obsessed with stopping Trump from making America great again.

Its only a battle because the Republican Establishment still doesn’t seem to grasp 2016.
Yes Dems are motivated, they are going to crawl over glass to vote, EVERYWHERE....
The problem is the Republican party is still pretending 2016 did not happen.
I live in this district, and I can tell you right now, other than some time specific ads... like linking Lamb to Pelosi’s “crumbs” comments, you would think this campaign was happening in 2010 or 2012 or 2014 or 2016... Just a bunch of tying the Dem to Pelosi and general general republican talking points.
THIS IS NOT GOING TO MOTIVATE THE MAGA VOTER! Its not going to get the “Trump” Democrat to show up... its not going to fire up anyone outside the traditional republican base. Trump’s name is hardly if ever mentioned by either side.
Saccone needs to run as a MAGA candidate, and simply state you voted for Trump and the MAGA agenda and if you don’t vote Lamb will stop it... And the messaging from the Saccone Campaign and all the GOP pac’s is not this!
If Lamb wins this, its because of messaging.... They still want to deny the landscape shifted. Its frustrating as hell to watch this campaign. This thing should not be tight, but because they are not IMHO motivating the right people to show up, it is going to be tight and Lamb may even pull it out.
That's why, right now, we need to get out on Conservative media and raise the alarm. This is a special election, turn out is going to be minimal, motivated party hacks can steal it.
Trump is coming in for a rally for Saccone on the 10th so he's doing his part, now its up to us to get the word out.
No he’s not... 1 poll showed him with the lease, the rest show him down a few points.
If Lamb wins the GOPe blew it. Their messaging has been bad from the get go...
Emerson has Lamb up three. But others (Gravis) had him down 2-6 recently. All up to Republican turnout. If they sit on their asses, we lose. Gotta vote people!
Yes, motivating folks to show up has been key to this and all races for republicans since day 1. Which is why the messaging in this race has had me angry from the get go.
The republican messaging is NOT IMHO going to motivate the MAGA voters to show up... the core republicans sure.. but the disenfranchised voters who voted for Trump and gave him PA?? Nope... the messaging has been all wrong...
This advertising and messaging has not been... you put Trump in the white house and now the Democrats want to stop him... You must show up to help Trump and the MAGA agenda by sending Saccone to DC to fight for the MAGA agenda.
No, its all been just traditional old tired Republican messaging that never got these voters to vote R before, let alone show up in a special election. Its been BAD messaging for what is needed from the get go.
Literally you could run every single ad for Saccone that is out there, other than the 1 ad explicitly calling out the tax cut “Crumbs” comment for any election in the last 10-20 years for any republican.
The GOPe just still does not seem to understand what happened in 2016!... I live in the district, if Lamb wins it isn’t because the Republicans didn’t fight... its that they fought a 2010 election in 2018.
Its been disappointing to watch from day one. Motivating voters to show up si what the R’s have to do in a special election or midterm... and simply playing to the traditional republican base is NOT going to do that... This race should not be within 3-6 points if Republicans didn’t have the heads up their arses with their messaging.
President Trump won Pennsylvania because of cross-over votes from working class Democrats. The old school 1950s Republican pol making the rounds of the the country club and the Rotary rubber chicken circuit isn't going to win anything anymore.
Those guys have had all the years since Ronald Reagan to show us what they can do, and they have done nothing. Crony capitalism, unrestrained immigration, and exported jobs and manufacturing is all they ever gave us. Oh, and unrestricted abortion.
Have you thought of calling RNC or other Republican orgs? They seem to need advice. You being local and all, may get through to them. I understand Pres. Trump will visit the District this weekend. Perhaps that will help win this election. We really need to win this thing!
Aside from the obvious fact that Lamb has gone into full Bob Casey stealth mode of shutting his mouth and pretending that you can trust him to not vote with Pelosi:
-Saccone could have really used an image consultant going into this. In his TV spots he looks like a walrus, and a sloppily-dressed one at that. Lamb looks like a Hollywood leading man by comparison.
-Saccone is in the PA State Legislature, which is not exactly a ringing ethical endorsement. The Dems can throw any kind of dirt at him about alleged graft and malfeasance, and 90% of the public will believe it.
-Republican voters are REALLY, REALLY PO-ed at having been deceived for so many years by Tim Murphy pretending to be onboard with their Conservative values. Frankly they don’t really trust any Republican now who claims to be.
-Lamb comes from a long line of old-school Democrat office holders going back generations. They were not radicals, and generally well-liked. So the name recognition benefits him.
-The Catholic Church could turn this race simply by pointing out that “personally opposed to abortion” is not “opposed to abortion”. But they won’t.
Wish we could FReep this district....go door to door to GOTV!!
Bummer.
Time to sheer this Lamb.
Perhaps it has something to do with coming from a local political dynasty with strong connections to the ObaMao Administration. His sole purpose of USMC service was to build a resume to run for office
Sheer?
I meant “shear”.
I know. I didnt think that you wanted to make lambs see-through. : )
Well, if I had some kind of x-ray weapon, I would consider using it. ;-p
