Its only a battle because the Republican Establishment still doesn’t seem to grasp 2016.

Yes Dems are motivated, they are going to crawl over glass to vote, EVERYWHERE....

The problem is the Republican party is still pretending 2016 did not happen.

I live in this district, and I can tell you right now, other than some time specific ads... like linking Lamb to Pelosi’s “crumbs” comments, you would think this campaign was happening in 2010 or 2012 or 2014 or 2016... Just a bunch of tying the Dem to Pelosi and general general republican talking points.

THIS IS NOT GOING TO MOTIVATE THE MAGA VOTER! Its not going to get the “Trump” Democrat to show up... its not going to fire up anyone outside the traditional republican base. Trump’s name is hardly if ever mentioned by either side.

Saccone needs to run as a MAGA candidate, and simply state you voted for Trump and the MAGA agenda and if you don’t vote Lamb will stop it... And the messaging from the Saccone Campaign and all the GOP pac’s is not this!

If Lamb wins this, its because of messaging.... They still want to deny the landscape shifted. Its frustrating as hell to watch this campaign. This thing should not be tight, but because they are not IMHO motivating the right people to show up, it is going to be tight and Lamb may even pull it out.

It's not a question of Lamb "pulling this out", I believe right now he is the front runner.

That's why, right now, we need to get out on Conservative media and raise the alarm. This is a special election, turn out is going to be minimal, motivated party hacks can steal it.

Trump is coming in for a rally for Saccone on the 10th so he's doing his part, now its up to us to get the word out.

Aside from the obvious fact that Lamb has gone into full Bob Casey stealth mode of shutting his mouth and pretending that you can trust him to not vote with Pelosi:

-Saccone could have really used an image consultant going into this. In his TV spots he looks like a walrus, and a sloppily-dressed one at that. Lamb looks like a Hollywood leading man by comparison.

-Saccone is in the PA State Legislature, which is not exactly a ringing ethical endorsement. The Dems can throw any kind of dirt at him about alleged graft and malfeasance, and 90% of the public will believe it.

-Republican voters are REALLY, REALLY PO-ed at having been deceived for so many years by Tim Murphy pretending to be onboard with their Conservative values. Frankly they don’t really trust any Republican now who claims to be.

-Lamb comes from a long line of old-school Democrat office holders going back generations. They were not radicals, and generally well-liked. So the name recognition benefits him.

-The Catholic Church could turn this race simply by pointing out that “personally opposed to abortion” is not “opposed to abortion”. But they won’t.
