From Daily Caller:
A New Jersey high school teacher has been suspended from his job for expressing support for arming teachers after the Parkland school shooting.
Cherry Hill High School history teacher Timothy Lock, 59, said he was placed on administrative leave last week because he spoke out in one of his classes about arming teachers and ramping up school security to try and prevent a school shooting.
Most of the students reportedly didnt have a problem with Locks comments, but one decided to report him to the administration. His bag was searched and he was required to undergo a physical and psychological exam.

I know my son’s teacher can’t.
She is truly dumber than a bag of hammers and is hyper sensitive to any possible wrongdoing my son does (mostly because I tore into her back on the first day of school for putting my six year old son on the wrong bus)
I’m for it, Texas law already allows it. Quite a few school boards have already put it in place.
Our local law enforcement is pretty good. But like all police, it is not an immediate response time after called. It would be far better to have a plan in place an someone on staff who is capable of dealing with such crimes.
Welcome to Libturd McCarthyism.
Yes and Libtard Fascists.
But we know by reflex what they really are.
Wait! David Hogg goes to a NJ school now too? First California, then Florida and now here? This 18 year old “student” really gets around huh?
Is such stupidity an communicable disease?
So it seems. It appears to be terminal as well
Who’d want to work for a school district like that? He’d improve his lot by just moving as far away from NJ as possible, as soon as possible.
His students are clearly concerned about him, Fox further reported. His suspension triggered two days of demonstration and a firestorm of criticism from both students and their parents who say they have long appreciated Mr. Lockes candor. Even concerning things like his tour of combat in Iraq and battle with post-traumatic stress disorder.
News Jersey. Of course. But could have been cal of other states.
Why are you blind banning me?
...1984 was long long ago. But you are right, they are still hammering the same agenda...
Yes. But it was written in 1949. It looks like nothing has changed over nearly 7 decades.
PC thought control, or political psychiatry.
He has every right to sue.
...and I believe that he will have an excellent, and early, retirement, complements of the generous taxpayers of his school district.

This IS 1984. Or, at least late 1982.
YES IT IS
If the commies on the left take our guns... so ONLY they have guns this is what our world will look like:

Holy hell. I do not want that school shot up but I do wonder how those who suspended him would feel if theyd been shot or seen their coworkers pass away before their eyes.
When I was young I didnt like guns or think about them much. Then my roommate was raped at knifepoint in our apartment. That night, late, when we couldnt sleep (remaining roommate and our boyfriends), we were sitting in the living room facing the window where the creep had broken in, hours earlier. One of the guys asked me what I would do if he came back in, and I had a gun. There was no hesitation: Id blow him away. That was the day I understood guns for self defense. Our cocktail waitress next door neighbor told us it wouldnt have happened to her since she slept with a pistol beside her bed.
Agreed. Had that coach and teacher who were willing to risk their lives for the kids been trained and armed, I’m sure the outcome would have been different. Furthermore, having an unspecified number of unnamed teachers armed is a pretty good deterrent. It would be a microcosm of society in shall issue states; criminals know a number of citizens are armed, just not which ones. “An armed society is a polite society.”
Bump!
One of my college friends who came to college after some time in Vietnam, slept with a loaded 1911 45 auto under his pillow. No sane person would have entered his apartment at night. Criminal are not all sane, but one entering his place would have exited dead.
He was a great person, but everybody knew not to mess with him.
I had an occasion in college where I had to produce my 20 gauge shotgun to protect myself. I assure you, when the breach closed, like a covey of quail the threats vanished.
