President Trump on Saturday blamed Democrats for failing to act to strengthen gun restrictions under the Obama administration, accusing them of using the issue as a political talking point.
"Just like they dont want to solve the DACA problem, why didnt the Democrats pass gun control legislation when they had both the House & Senate during the Obama Administration. Because they didnt want to, and now they just talk!" Trump tweeted.

Dems didnt want to because they knew it would cost them the House/Senate..they remember what happened when Bill Clinton signed the “Assault weapons” ban..Dems lost BIG..so instead, Dems now are gonna scream and b*tch til Republicans do it and pissed off gun owners vote Republicans out and Dems have clean hands

They can try and pass anything they want.
Doesn’t mean we’ll comply. And there’s a LOT of us. A whole lot of us.

From now on, I'm just blaming them to their faces.

Doesnt mean well comply. And theres a LOT of us. A whole lot of us. If they pass restrictive laws, we should interpret it as a direct threat to kill our children and grandchildren.
After all, the FBI, local law enforcement and the school administrators have ALL clearly shown in this instance that they could care less about the lives of the children.

They didn't do it because of the multidimensional shitstorm they knew it would ignite. Even some Dems own guns (relatively few as there are), and they would have risked getting some pushback from their own. And that's not to mention the Constitutional thrust and parry in front of the SCOTUS that would go on endlessly. No, they're content to sit back and use it as an emotional cudgel in the media without offering a sober alternative option. They don't give a damn about anything or anyone unless it threatens to pull the trough out from under their porcine snouts.

I already do interpret it that way.
This is my Right. It’s not something that will be legislated away.
It’s nothing less than a declaration of War against Americans.
If we’re to call ourselves Free Men, we better damned well ACT like it.

Article wrote Trump made it easier for mentally ill people to purchase firearms. I’ve read enough to know that’s BS. Why’d they include it?

Obozo’s criminal party got deservedly shellacked in the 2010 mid terms for passing obozocare, can you imagine how bad it would have been for the criminal rat party if they had done gun control too?

Yep, exactly like they are about amnesty. To them its far too valuable as an issue to actually fix it.

Amnesty and gun control would spark a revolt and they know it.

Democrats don’t want to pass gun control.
They want to keep it as a campaign and fund raising issue.
