Students, parents and staff at C.K. McClatchy High School are upset over a science fair project by a student in its elite magnet program that questioned whether certain races of people lack the intelligence to handle the program’s academically challenging coursework.

Face the reality. Do not put people into academic programs or jobs that they cannot handle. They will be happier in something that they can do. They will do well in it, and will stop trying not to think about what affirmative action means.

But that doesn’t make her wrong about the genetics concept. Murray assessed real data regarding race and intelligence, acknowledging that both notions have issues of definition.
But broad categories can be identified and conclusions drawn based on data. Murray did that.
And what he did brought into question 50 years of conclusionary thought that said that all human beings have identical potential in terms of intelligence and that the only reason for differences was lack of resources or education.
I don’t know anyone intelligent who believes that now.
The Bee article made it sound as though the project was done by a white student...
Only one small line saying the student was Asian...

And if you actually read it you would know that the authors said that their conclusions are not definite, nor should stupid people with an agenda take their work and use it to make value judgements on individuals.
Sadly we know some people on the right now get off on using it as a replacement for just saying “black people are dumb”.

Go to the library, and check out a book on European history in the 20th century.
But that's that nature of human beings. Ideology always trumps truth. Think of Galileo as just one memorable historical example. There are countless others. People who see the Emperor without clothes are in for a hard time.

I agree. You can fix bad learning environments. But you can’t fix IQ. So any racial IQ study can only do harm. It can only further Balkanize this country.
Let’s suppose some study shows that race A has a higher IQ than race B. What’s a member of race B to make of that? Will he say, “By golly, we sure are a stupid people.” No. He more likely to say, “To hell with race A.” End result: Balkanization.
I’d much rather focus on the IQ of the individual. If you can’t pass the test needed to get a job, you don’t get that job, period. No quota system. No affirmative action.

So in your world, it is the sign of a neo-Nazi white supremacist to bring back for discussion (what had once been established fact) the lesser brain mass and intelligence of blacks compared to other races...but it’s OK to say that Asians are smarter than everyone else...because of their race?
The Asians do well academically because of their culture. It’s that simple. The top 10% of white, American students perform as well as as the top 10% of Asian students.
My point is this: there is scientific evidence that the brains of blacks — on average — are smaller and have less mass than those of whites. The statement is objective and scientific and has nothing to do with “racism.”
What people do with whatever degree of intelligence they were born with...that is a cultural issue.
White Americans, if they are more intelligent, are certainly acting stupidly by voting for leftists and following leftist teachers that are destroying Western Civilization. To me, that is cultural and intellectual suicide... regardless of the IQ or the brain mass.

If you take a gallon of hot water and pour it into a gallon of cold water you end up with warm water. Trouble is that at the present birth rate per race there is a lot more cold water being produced than hot water. The dumbing down of America. Future snowflakes may not be all that white.
Okay, this kid in an elite magnet program in HIGH SCHOOL turns in something that looks like a 2nd grader w/ no perental supervision did it???????

Then explain why there are no black lead first-world nations and very few black communities that are not sh*tholes.
