WSJ Columnist: Would Democrats Fight This Hard To Kill A Memo About A Republican Abusing Wiretaps?

The release of the FISA memo is upon us. The four-page document Democrats have maligned as an attempt to undermine the FBI and the Russia investigation alleges egregious abuses, some of which are said to echo that of the KGB. It’s sparked a war between the Department of Justice/FBI and Congress. The White House is now involved, as they’re supportive of releasing the memo. The vote to declassify was held by the House Intelligence Committee on Monday. It passed on a party-line vote. It then undergoes a five-day period in which the president can either support its release or block it. That same day, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and FBI Director Christopher Wray failed to convince White House Chief of Staff John Kelly to block the memo’s release. The war is over. The president is signing off on releasing it. Now, the DOJ is continuing to use the media as a means to fight the White House in this decision, which The Wall Street Journal’s Kimberley Strassel described as outrageous.

While Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) thinks the memo edits were pernicious and Nancy Pelosi thinks House Intelligence Committee chair Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) should be removed from that position, let’s be clear: the edits were at the request of…the Democrats and the FBI. It was a two-word change. This is what we mean by silly clown games in the FISA memo war. The Left is foaming at the mouth from the bath salts.

They are not democrats. They are communists. They make no sense, Thayer have to save their agenda. That is all there is.

Thank you for posting this great graphic, I will be sure to share.

Now the big push is on in the MSM to make the memo a “nothing burger”. When I try and explain to friends what is going on, I try and set it at a “local” level. We find out that Fred the Farmer who was dragged into court and sent off to prison was actually “railroaded” by the prosecutors (read government) who “sorta of forgot” to give the defense evidence they had that proved he did not do anything wrong. “Hey, we needed a scalp on our wall and Fred was it!”

Now, scale that malfeasance up to the level of the President of the United States being the one railroaded and all of a sudden the “flap” over the memo and all the Congressional investigations comes into focus.

Just my 2¢

This so called dossier sounds to me like originally it was a satirical piece submitted and rejected by some publication. Suggesting Trump was so petty that he would “get even” with the facility in Moscow where he and his wife were staying when given the same suite which Obama used. An incredulous composition .

I won’t repeat what was stated in that opus. But frankly Trump doesn’t strike me as that sort of guy and that would consider such action is retaliation by having two hookers urinate on a bed Obama/Clinton slept in where Trump probably would consider that as a total waste of money.

As a piece of so called “intelligence” was there any verification ? That means complaints by the facilities housekeeping staff and statements by the two alleged hookers. Yet this is what the swamp creatures are claiming is intelligence which publicized will endanger America.

Ultimately, the Democrat Thug Party is irrelevant. It’s the malevolent MSM that’s pushing the agenda. And the MSM is largely Disney and Comcast.

The bit about the hookers in the Moscow hotel room was satirical fan fiction written by a poster on 4chan. Or at least that’s what 4chan claims.

Just wondering if James Comey is still considering teaching ethical leadership at Williams & Mary?

They are not democrats. They are communists.

Funny that! I was just reading another thread and caught my self thinking, there is really no reason to refer to them as 'democrats' any longer and we should only call them 'communist' from this day forward. I will do exactly this. May it catch on!

if this memo contained ANY info harmful to Trump, it would have been leaked by the dems weeks ago. Perhaps, Diane Feinstein would have had another cold.

Not all. But many.

The rest are guilty of other serious crimes.
