When they brought William “Ryan” Owens home, the Navy SEAL was carried from a C-17 military plane in a flag-draped casket, onto the tarmac at Dover Air Force Base, as President Donald Trump, his daughter, Ivanka, and Owens’ family paid their respects.

....“I’m sorry, I don’t want to see him,’’ Owens recalled telling the chaplain who informed him that Trump was on his way from Washington. “I told them I don’t want to meet the President.”

It had been little more than 24 hours since six officers in dress uniform knocked on the door to Owens’ home in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea....

My bad, the President’s Feb 2017 Speech before a Joint Session of Congress had the slain Seal’s wife present. The President’s heartfelt words to her regarding her husband’s heroism showed Americans what a true President is.

This father is likely hated by his own family. Internet reporters should chase his *ss down and get him on record as to why his own family can’t stand him.

I will not try to judge a parent in their grief.

But then, that is exactly what the article is asking us to do. They are asking us to learn something from examining how this man reacts to devastatingly painful news....and making it about mere politics.

Mr. Owens, I understand your bottomless grief as I have a live and healthy son of the same age.

But, he’s gone, and nothing, but nothing will bring him back.

So, are you doing what your son would want you to do...................i.e. being disrespectful of HIS Commander in Chief. I obviously did not know your son but I doubt he would approve your behavior from what I can see and read.
