In case you weren’t aware, “cloture” is a swahili term that roughly translated means “convenient excuse for doing nothing.”

Saw on twitter that Lindsey Grahamesty said he will vote YES on the CR..I think your theory might be correct..I think President Trump has read the FISA memo(Or at least been told what is in it) and used that as a bargaining chip against the Dems..gee..remember when dems said they wanted all the info about the Russia investigation out in they open, Adam Schiff sure has been quiet about this FISA memo hasn’t he..cat bite his tongue?
It’s amazing how the most pain in the ass Senators on our side (Flakey, McCain, Little Lindsay) are the ones most in love with seeing their own faces on TV.
If the FISA memo is what some think it is, then it's a bargaining chain saw and should not be wasted.
I thought about it, but what would he do? I don’t think he would trade swamp draining to avoid a government shutdown.

President Trump will protect the downside and the upside will take care of itself. That, I can tell you.
I thought budget reconciliation votes were filibuster free. How is it that a Supreme Court justice can get voted through under budget reconciliation rules but the budget can’t get through the same way. Nuke it!! The Senate (rules) AND the bill!!!
